"I stayed at my place in brooking S.D and it continues to be a nightmare for me. I checked into my room for 215 bucks for 1 night (fine), paid them and went on my way to watch my son's football game. I received a notification that my place charged an additional charge to my card for 20 something dollars, when I asked them about it, they told me I was charged wrong (fine). I checked out at 5am , I was only in this place for 6 hours. I got 2 more notifications that they have taken an additional 215 dollars and then other charge for 20 something dollars. I tried all day Saturday to get this resolved and had no luck with their staff with helping me. I finally got a call from my place around noon on Sunday, I never got an apology, not a reason for why this happened!! They made 3 unauthorized charges to my debit card that total close to 250 dollars and caused me to overdraft my bank account. Tonight I still have not received my money or any type of an apology. These people shouldn't be trusted with your debit or credit card. I live paycheck to paycheck like most people and this not only caused me overdrafting but, also costed my son and I to not be able to go on our fishing trip we planned on Saturday. I'm beyond disappointed and sickened that that my son missed out on a memory making trip of football and fishing that we both have looked forward to all summer. This will never be MY PLACE again. DONT STAY HERE!!"

"We first were given a room that smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The young man at the desk quickly moved us to a better room when we asked. He was great staff! However there was quite a big surprise. We booked here to use a kitchen as I have lots of food allergies. Only to discover that this Myplace does not stock their kitchen! I had to try to cook fresh vegetables on the glass plate of the microwave, and cook rice in a paper cup. There was not so much as a piece of silverware. When I asked the desk, they informed me that their myplace does not stock their kitchen, and if I wanted plates, silverware, cooking utincils, etc . . . I would have to buy them from their store. I will not stay here again. This was not brought to our attention when booking the room. It was the kitchen we were wanting most!"
