"Stay was okay. The climate control in Room 221 was weird. I set it to heat at 67 degrees and it ran constantly to the point that we all woke up in a sweat at 1am. I switched it to A/C at 74 and then we were cold the rest of the night. There was no happy medium with it. The carpet also felt dirty. The pool was adequate but had a lot of rust around it. The big perk to this hotel was its location. We loved the river, the Falls and the proximity to nearby food and drink."
"Great value hotel! Downtown close to amazing restaurants and right on the river and greenway. Beautiful views. The hotel was renovated, clean, had great service and one of the best continental breakfasts. The parking lot is small but they have overflow parking right behind the lot so no problems there. Never had any safety concerns either. Would definitely stay again!"
"Me and my family was staying at this hotel for new years weekend! Our 4 year old daughter couldn't even swim cause the water was too cold! My husban goes down to the desk to tell the front desk lady what was happing about the pool! Some lady asked about parking and all my husband said was it's pretty far ans the native lady at the front called the cops on us for no reason at all. She is very rude racest and disrespectful...then we fit promised point for a different hotel and been ducked and dodge for a qhopw month now..then got told its illegal to get told when the gm is available worst place ever"
"The location was perfect. Right on the river, close for the Lighted Holiday Parade, downtown and Falls Park. That's where the positive stops. 1. Upon arrival, my friend was not greeted as typically expected. No friendly "hello" or anything similar. Basically, gave his name for reservations, was given cards & paper for parking, then told that the elevator was not working... and of course the room was on the 4th floor. Not pleasant to climb 4 flights of stairs every time we wanted to leave the hotel. 2. My friend reserved a suite, but got to the room & it was a double bed, not a suite. He called the front desk & told the hotel was booked up, so nothing they could do. Clerk said to talk to the GM in the morning. 3. No hot water, that night or the next morning. Would get lukewarm at best, but still got chills taking a shower. 4. Key cards had issues working. Had to try them numerous times before the lock would turn green & unlock the door. Seemed a couple other ppI had the same issue as well. Hotel was pretty clean and breakfast was good. Lady working the breakfast area did a great job making sure food items were filled & tables/counters were clean. She was the only employee that seemed to care about the guests quite honestly and we appreciated that. During checkout, my friend explained the issues with receiving the wrong room & no hot water to the GM. Since he booked through a 3rd party, he was told they will try to give a partial refund. However, we had doubts that anything would be done since she didn't make any attempt to contact the 3rd party while he was speaking with her. As we figured, as of today, he has not received a notification from the 3rd party much less a partial refund. Would not choose to stay here again."
"I really enjoyed this hotel. The room was sparkling clean. Clean sheets and comfortable beds. Very nice ladies at the reception. If someone from the hotel is reading this I would suggest please put your local channels on the TV’s. As a traveler I am interested in a local news, I have a cable news channel at my home like everybody else, but the local news would be felt more away from home and it would be more interesting. Thank you!"
