The staff person who handled the return process poorly by putting me on hold on the phone repeatedly and speaking in a very rude tone as if I was the person creating the problem. Very bad experience in this location but the customer service provided by the company was helpful, polite and efficient."

"I wanted to leave a review specifically for Gene Garvin at Johnston & Murphy at the Mall of America. We stumbled in last week just browsing for some shirts and we were met by Genes' warm, welcoming energy. He connected with us in a way that feels so rare these days. He seemed genuinely interested in my tattoo sleeve and we even connected about different tattoo artists in the cities. The clothing at the store seemed quality, although pricey, but Genes' customer service will be remembered as a stand out. Full 10/10 We didn't purchase anything, but we are glad we went in."

"Good morning everyone. I love Johnston and Murphy’s brand and I love the clothing, but today I had a very unpleasant experience. I’ve shopped here before and left with a smile on my face each of those times, unfortunately today was not the same. Quick backstory, my friends and I ended up cancelling our flight and photo shoot in Chicago due to the new travel order. Because the trip was cancelled, I came in to return the outfit I was planning on wearing. Jean, who helped me pick out a different outfit a few weeks ago was very kind the first time we met. He was not very kind this morning. He asked me how often I have these photo shoots and followed up with saying “I should not make a habit of renting clothes”. Jean, I want you to know I have never “rented clothes” in my life and it is EXTREMELY rude to imply that. In one word, uncomfortable- that’s how my experience was this morning was. I’m not sure if you’re having a bad day, but please never take it out by shaming a customer. I am still going to shop with Johnston and Murphy, but I will NEVER come back to this location ever again. Good luck to the new hire who witnessed that this morning."
