"TL;DR: Avoid this pharmacy unless you plan to stay while your script is filled and make sure you check that everything is correct before you give them any money. They don't care. Normally, I wouldn't post about an issue like this, but Kendra's lack of any kind of empathy or even trying to find a solution has left me feeling like I've been scammed out of $25 and will have to give them another $25 just to get the correct medication when it IS available for refill. A huge lack of communication caused this, and poor customer service has me wishing to not have to deal with this pharmacy ever again. Luckily, I only fill one medication here, and I won't be continuing with this pharmacy after the correct prescription is refilled. If you guys had confirmed the dosage with me before starting to fill it, and then given me the correct amount of time it would take for the prescription to be ready so I could pick it up, this wouldn't have happened. I do take the blame in assuming that the correct dosage would be filled, as I've never had a problem with that before, but I was also beyond exhausted and needing sleep. As it was the last dosage that had been picked up, I don't understand why the lady I first spoke to never confirmed the dosage and neither did the lady that told me it would be another 40 minutes before it would be ready. This was after being told 20 to 30 minutes by the first lady, and then waiting that amount of time. What I could not help, at that point, is that my mother would have to pick it up for me because I work nights and it was way past my normal sleep time even before I left. She didn't know to check that the dosage was correct. But your pharmacy should have checked with someone before selling it to my mother. The pharmacist even asked her if the doctor had reduced my dose, yet your pharmacy still decided to let my mother take the prescription instead of hanging onto it until the right dosage could be confirmed. Why didn't you confirm with my doctor's office? I know prescriptions can't be returned after leaving the pharmacy, but there has to be some sort of solution other than a faked apology. $25 is not a small amount, especially these days. I think my biggest question is, "How would you feel if this happened to you?" I have a feeling that no one at this pharmacy cares enough to even put themselves in someone else's shoes. Or that's how I feel after my unproductive phone call to see how you all would make this right. Now I am out the money, and I have a medication that I can't use. It's not like I can take two pills to make up for the amount. So yeah, thanks for nothing."
"This location has been an awful one to work with. Anytime any employee has answered the phone they are hostile and judgmental. I have been verbally cut off in the middle of sentences and seeming to be a bother to the staff. I do not get notified anytime my medications are filled and have not been given the correct amount of pills I need for the last two months. I dread having to come here to pick up my medications or make a phone call for help."
"This CVS location is one of the best! It’s not my CVS pharmacy, where I get my RXs, but I stopped in there the other day to pick up a Doordash order and a young woman named Tisha helped me S0 much. She was so knowledgeable about where everything in the store was located and went out of her way to help me. I wish every retail store had such excelled customer service—CVS is lucky to have an employee like her. Yay Trish!"
"Carly at the pharmacy was extremely helpful in sorting out a manufacturer change for my pet's prescription! She went above and beyond with the follow up, as well as locating other CVSs that carried the manufacturer that worked for my pet before it switched. I deeply appreciate the effort she put in "
"This CVS location at McClintock and Broadway is the worst. Every one of the female staff at this location has a serious attitude and acts hostile towards customers. They seem to hate having to wait on anyone. There's no excuse for allowing this behavior. Clearly management isn't doing their job. Unless you like being barked at by pharmacy staff, I would suggest going elsewhere. I can see why CVS is losing business and closing locations."
