"The worst experience I've ever had at a doctors office. They told me they accept my insurance when I made the appointment. When I got there, they say they don't!! So I've been waiting 3 weeks and my eyes are bad so I payed $513.00 and they said if insurance pays anything they would refund it. So they submit an out of network claim and got a lot of it payed with my insurance and kept the money from both and now they hang up on me. FRAUD!!!! BEWARE!!!! And the people at the front desk are totally incompetent."
"The front desk staff is very friendly always smiling. Meeting Dr. Subei was really great. He was very polite, informative and very patient. The entire atmosphere of the facility says "we are happy to serve you". I highly recommend this medical facility if you're in need of a Brain and Eye Specialist."
"Dr. Subei and his staff were great. He was able to reassure me about the condition of my optical nerve and created a treatment plan that worked with my schedule and budget."
"My visits were professional and calming. I preregistered online, and there were more forms to read and sign at the first visit. I met with Dr. Subei on my second visit, and I felt comfortable with his additional testing and conclusions. When my primary care physician referred me to a neuro-ophthalmologist, Dr. Subei was at the top of our search. I am scheduled for a CT scan, and my next appointment with Dr. Subei is already scheduled. When referred to a neuro-ophthalmologist, every patient is sent for good reason. I am glad Dr. Subei is available for residents in AZ."
"*Edit: after I left this review, I was contacted by both Dr Subei and his office manager who were both very apologetic and seemed genuinely motivated to find a way to make the situation right. They both informed me that multiple changes have been made to their office procedures to avoid situations like mine moving forward. I did still decide not to go back to his office, but in the interest of transparency wanted to add here the information that I was given, as well as my positive experience talking to his staff after this review. Dr Subei is great, but i had to find a whole new doctor due to his front office. They’ve made me reschedule (with as little as a days notice) every single appointment I’ve ever scheduled. When I wasn’t able to make it to the new time they told me I needed to change to, I wasn’t able to get my prescription refilled and went without my medication for two weeks. They “don’t communicate with established patients via phone” so there’s no option to call to figure out a scheduling issue. They tell you to text instead but it’s taken me up to three days of texting daily to get a single response. Each of these issues has caused me to have a lapse in my medication multiple times which made my painful neurological symptoms return. As much as I do like dr Subei and I think he’s a knowledgeable and empathetic doctor, I have to say if you’re a new patient looking for somewhere that can reliably treat your issues, run far away from this office."
