"Thai coconut curry chicken. Flavorful and perfectly cooked vegetables. I ordered my food for pickup and the food was ready exactly when the order said it would be. I would come back to try other meals here."

"I ordered orange chicken and fried rice. I did not pick a delivery service. I just hit their Pei Wei tab. Anyway, about an hour and 10 minutes later the order arrives, but it's chicken wings and french fries. The delivery service they use sent me the wrong meal. When I called Pei Wei to try to discuss the matter the girl that answered the phone acted like she didn't understand what I was telling her. That's awfully possible because the music was playing so loud I don't know who could hear who. After getting nowhere with her I asked for the manager. I get the manager on the telephone, the Sunday night manager, and he basically said he couldn't do anything for me. I told him I was bringing the food that was wrongfully delivered to me to him and I was driving in to pick up my meal. He just wanted to credit the order. I wanted my food. I was starving by this point. Anyway, I had to get into my own car and drive down to this Pei Wei to pick up my own meal. The management did give me $17 in cash, however, my total was more than that. I don't know where they arrived at their figure but my total was $25.15. All in all, this was a horrible experience. I finally got to eat about 2 hours after I placed the order. I have been to many Pei Wei's in the Valley and have never been treated so rudely as I was at this one. Skip this restaurant and go somewhere else. When I did get the food home it was cold. It also looked like they gave me the bad pieces of chicken for my meal. Normally I don't have so much gristle in the chicken. I could only eat about half of it. As to the wrong meal that was delivered to my home, I took my dog for a walk in downtown Phoenix and found two homeless women that were hungry. I gave the french fries and the 5 lb of wings to them. I told them to enjoy. I then walked away."

"It’s been years since I’ve eaten at Pei Wei, and finding myself in a pinch with hungry children, I figured it was a safe bet. Oh boy was I wrong. I’m typing this up from my porcelain throne at home. I’ve had a solid tummy ache for hours now, and me and the kids have been producing a steady stream of flatulence ever since our disastrous dining experience. The food here is AWFUL. Dreadful. Embarrassing. It’s so bad. My kids complained at how sweet the lo mein noodles were. No amount of soy sauce could revive the abominable flavor of those noodles. Even my Mongolian beef seemed to be coated in sugar. Go figure, since it’s an American brand catering to American sweet tooths. Astonishingly bad, my friends. Please, save yourselves, and your guts, and do not come here. I’m not at all surprised now, in hindsight, by how empty this place was at 6pm on a weeknight. Oh how the mighty have fallen. In 2010 Pei Wei was a bustling bistro dishing up delicious dishes. Now, they’re a toxic boyfriend begging their girl to stay. In a word: PATHETIC. Added a star for friendly staff."
