Summit School

"I have 2 children who have attended Summit since 3rd and 5th grades and I can not say enough wonderful things about this school. My oldest has since graduated and is now a sophmore at Seton Catholic Prep and my daughter is an 8th grader and will be graduating in a few months. Both of my children have not only been challenged academically but have grown socially as well. They have learned to become leaders both in the classroom and in the community. Summit is a safe place where they have been able to take risks and try new things like sports, theater, and instruments. They have been on fascinating field trips and had amazing artists and speakers in residence and finally, the 8th grade culminating event is not to be missed. You have to see it to believe it! Each year it brings tears to my eyes to see the children of Summit challenge themselves during their ROPES experience and come through it ready for high school. THIS SCHOOL IS WONDERFUL!"

"I have 3 children currently attending Summit, since beginning in preschool in 2008. I have seen the teachers challenge them academically - whether it is providing additional challenge work to think beyond what they are learning or helping support lower areas. They are encouraged and expected to be the best they can be not only in their school work, but in their social/emotional growth. The small class sizes allow for teachers to truly know each student. I have watched students graduate and become confident, independent young adults and I'm excited my children have the same opportunity. The academic program is rigorous without taking away their childhood. Students are not given busy work, but real life examples and application of what they are learning."

They facilitate a very creative and thoughtful experience for the kids in their class.
