"I have gotten vaccinations here as well as picked up prescriptions from time to time and I just love the pharmacists here! Generally (that I can recall) there are two pharmacists that are on staff here and they are both amazing. So kind, helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. This is the first time I’ve ever reviewed a pharmacy but I felt like I had to because the service has been so great and they treat you like a friend, which is really nice. You feel like they really do care about you. I also use the GoodRx app and lately Safeway seems to be really good prices using it (whereas before it was Fry’s.) So as long as nothing changes, I’ll keep using Safeway for the prices and the service."
"When shipping services made drugs hard to get, they had all of them ready to pick up. Fast, knowledgeable and friendly. Transferred all my families prescriptions here."
"Does Mr. Smith still work at this pharmacy? It's been longer than I can reckon since I've seen him here so I suspect he's retired or moved elsewhere. If I still dealt primarily with him, this would likely be a stellar five-star review. The newer staff of mostly younger individuals, they've always been friendly so I don't feel too great about having to say this, but they seem just generally incompetent. Everyone else I know that uses this pharmacy feels the same. Maybe for some reason the stock issues and other delays I encounter *every single month* aren't their fault so I'll round up from neutral and give three stars for benefit of doubt & being the cheapest around for me by far, but I don't know how many more times I can deal with "we have it in stock and you can pick it up tomorrow!" then the next day "oh darn, looks like we'll have to order that" before I'll totally lose it. Don't count on a prior authorization request ever actually being submitted here, I stopped beating that dead horse long ago. Don't come here for an essential prescription unless you're prepared to always keep a week+ buffer, or you absolutely can't afford anywhere else. I often go to CVS or Walgreens and pay 2-3x as much because fewer headaches = priceless."

"I have been a loyal safeway shopper for the past 28 years. I have always shopped at the Greenway and Tatum store, either east or west side of Tatum. For the past 6 months I have been very unhappy that I have never been able to complete my shopping list because Safeway was always out of something or no longer carried it causing me to make another stop at another store. I recently began to realize the expiration dates on meats and dairy were very close to the day I was shopping. I would choose not to buy meat that I planned to cook in the next couple of days because it would have expired by then. The final straw was finding a package of bacon that was green with mold and quite hairy, looking. It was disgusting! I took it to the butcher and told him it might be a good idea to pull the product, he was very embarrassed but it made me realize there was not a lot of quality control because that mold didn't happen in one day. No one must have been checking the supply. I will no longer shop at Safeway. My go to store will be Fry's, Whole foods and Trader Joes. I am very sorry because Safeway is the most convenient. Good Bye Safeway."
