About the Business

CAPS, located at 2200 South 43rd Avenue in Phoenix, Arizona, is a leading institution in the health and pharmacy industry. As the nation's largest network of outsourcing admixture pharmacies, CAPS has been a pioneer in providing high-quality compounded sterile preparations (CSP) since its founding in 1991. With 22 503A regional pharmacies and two FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facilities, CAPS is equipped to meet a wide range of customized compounding needs for hospitals and outpatient facilities nationwide.

CAPS' quality assurance program, Test Hold and Release (THR®), ensures compliance with cGMP standards set by the Drug Quality and Security Act (DQSA) for 503B facilities. This program is particularly important for anticipatory compounding, where product batches are prepared without a prescription.

From custom parenteral nutrition solutions to premixed Oxytocin bags and pre-filled anesthesia syringes, CAPS offers a variety of sterile admixture services tailored to meet the needs of pharmacies. Additionally, CAPS has a comprehensive compliance program in place to adhere to the Compliance Program Guidance for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers.

CAPS® is a registered trademark of Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc., a member of the B. Braun Group of Companies. Visit CAPS today for all your pharmacy compounding needs.

"Pharmacy technicians beware: you do NOT compound right away and you won't for 3 months or more, you will label bags all day everyday till you get into the clean room. No stress mats so if you have foot issues not good. Pay needs to be more due to the amount of bags being compounded."

"One of the worst pharmacies I worked at, There was a lot of politics and favoritism here. It was guys against girls and the HR person liked girls so the guys lost. There where only 2 guys in the cleanroom out of 30 people when I left. I was their hardest worker but was pushed out because of rumors, lies and workplace bullying"

"Management is the problem along with the Horrible lead. With my experience HR and and management director and supervisor and lead do not value employees ideas, and when they do they will give the atavistic to someone else of there liking. They play favorites , if you love stabling people in the back and kissing butt it’s the perfect company for you."
