"I cannot stress this enough. Do not move here. The staff is difficult to work with, there is a HUGE roach infestation they REFUSE to deal with and calling the office is nearly impossible. I have had to go up there many times because they will not answer the phone. Every time I have gone up there, I have asked and asked about what they plan on doing with the roach issue. I have been told FOR WEEKS “we are working on it, we are getting scheduling set up with a new pest company, it should be here next week or the week after, we will call you with an update”. It has been over a month with this and the new company. The old one wasn’t any better. Do not waste your time and money on them."

"Just a comment, today I went to discuss my renewing of my lease with Candy. There was a glitch on my lease, but Candy with checking it out fixed it Immediately. She apologized for the inconvenience of this. Candy went far and beyond the call of duty on this. Candy has great customer service skills-and I felt very comfortable talking to her. I recommend Tides Gilbert East. Thank you again for the great experience."

"I applied to live here and got accepted a month and a half ago. When I applied my move in date was October 5th, when that time came they pushed it back because the unit “wasn’t ready” they also said that they had no other available units ready when the website said otherwise. I’ve been ran around the last almost two months just trying to get into a unit. I’ve been Calling and going into the office over and over again, I got literally no where, they kept saying they’d email me or call but I got nothing. When I asked to cancel my application they back peddled and went to go see what was wrong with the unit that I got accepted for but apparently residents are living in that unit. I don’t know if the residents just didn’t move out or if they just gave it away, but still wouldn’t give me a different unit or even tell me that it just wasn’t going to be available. I called for four days to get my application cancelled and got no where. The office just kept saying the manager is in a meeting and she’ll get to it when she’s done but never did I guess. I had to go to tides on Gilbert west to even get my application cancelled and they did it immediately. I don’t understand what the problem was but I definitely don’t recommend these apartments. The office and management are not good with communication at all. The website is never “updated” even tho it says they have availability."

"I have lived in this apartment complex for 4 years with my son. I pay my rent on time, every month, and never had any issues. We are quiet and courteous tenants. We have been through 4 changes of ownership since 2019. The current Property managers have been a complete nightmare to work with. I have seen nothing but a disorganized mess and no one willing to take any responsibility. They do not answer their phones, or respond to emails. When I went into the office, I was met with horrible customer service, an overwhelmed staff with bad attitudes, and overall unwillingness to be helpful. What a disappointment when I was hopeful the new ownership would bring a better customer experience for loyal and responsible tenants. The interactions I have had this year are reasons why I will not be renewing my lease. I would have stayed if it was not for the poor treatment I received from the staff. I will not put my money into a place that does not value long term customers or have respect for anyone on a human level. I work in customer service and the expectations that I enforce in my place of work are not what The Tides East brings. Very upsetting."
