"Paid $192+tax/fees per night.. Rooms were good size with a king bed.. Pillows were elongated, somewhat hard and uncomfortable. Checked in and went for shower around 7pm and water was barely lukewarm. However, next morning, water was acceptablly hot.. Not very hot. There was water soaking into the carpet in the bedroom, from the shower area. The shower knob was screw less and dirty. My room was adjacent to the gym and I could hear loud noises. The bedsheet had holes in it.. The shower had somebody's blonde hair on the floor.. I almost threw up..! Called front desk, as the TV guide didn't show a specific channel and the guide did not the channel number.. Finally I located the channel around 5am. One of the wall unit plug points was dangling off the wall. I called the front desk specifically to ask them to refresh the room.. Towels, soap etc..telling them I was leaving the room (granted, I forgot to take the 'do not disturb' sign off the door knob). It wasn't carried out. No supply was left outside the room door either. The bar tender was good.. John..! Next morning, had BF.. The menu card didn't explain the details of an order and ended up ordering too much, for 1 person and I was flying out that morning. Paid $40+ for 1 person."
"We usually stay here every year and we did again this year. It was last minute but Stacey and Sabrina at the front desk did a great job accommodating our group to some rooms. They worked with us really well and we were happy with our stay."
"This is my go to hotel when I’m visiting. Although the last few times the carpets were in need of shampooing. The beds are super comfy, and the staff is generally nice and receptive. The location is perfect for what I need to do when I go visit. And there are tons of food options very near by. Parking is still free, which is a shocker for this type of chain hotel most other places. My only biggest complaint is the desks in the rooms are not really conducive to working with your laptop. The chair is not on wheels and at 5ft 9”, I’m too short to sit Comfortably on the chair when pulled up to the desk. This is my biggest issue, because some times I’m here 3-4 days having to work. The business center on the main floor is the same way. Not very comfy for long work days."
"This was our first experience at a Marriott hotel and I am confident it is also our last. We attended an event at this hotel for the weekend and we had issues from the time we checked in, I will say that the best part of our stay was the size of the room(but was sort of clean) and the fish and chips we ate at the bar downstairs im the lobby. Otherwise..... The customer service with the staff is absolutely horrible! I have never stayed at any hotel where the incidental charges were more then $100 -$150, we had incidental hold charges of $600 on my account $700 on my husband's card when had to add another night.... No explanation other this has never happened before! SMH! Not to mention the harassment we witnessed that felt very racial from most of the staff. We witnessed so many altercations between the host of the event and the event coordinator who by the way was extremely rude and unprofessional. I am not sure what was agreed upon for the event this time but I have attended events by the host in the past and have never encountered what I witnessed this weekend. There was a dinner on the final evening and the food was horrible it was either dry or burnt ☹️ I was thankful for the fish and chips I had from the bar and grill earlier. I attended many events at hotels and we travel frequently BUT the level of customer service that I received with the low key of racism was a first and it was noticeable. I wish I could say that it was only my experience but unfortunately most of the people who were staying at this hotel for the event said the same....... They definitely need more trainings, more people or a new staff, I do want to shout out Peggy who I believe was in housekeeping and really tried her best to be accommodating. Before submitting my review I read some previous reviews and it seems like the hotel is consistent in having similar issues."
"Room was super dirty. Nicer room but felt like I almost needed to place a towel on the shower floor in order not to touch the floor. Only thing was the drain was already slow due to hair so couldn’t. I actually saw hair and nail clippings on the floor in the bathroom and scum all over the shower. Bed was really nice and comfortable. Fitness area is great. Newer equipment and clean. Loved that. A bonus, dogs stay free! Hence the reason for not complaining about the room. Staff was super nice when checking in. Still gave 3 stars because the room being dirty was the only disappointment."
