"I lived at Asteria and the manager Lea transferred to Station 21. As soon as my lease ended, I followed because she has always made me feel at home. I knew that would continue when I fist came to tour and Jonathan and Collin made me feel welcome when I walked in the the door. I love my neighbors and am very happy with my apartment. Every single member of the front office and maintenance says hello to me by name and truly makes me feel at home daily while I walk my dog."
"When I first moved here twenty years ago it was nice place however over a period of time especially in the last eight years this complex had one landlord after another that did not care. Then came Station 21 Apartments. After suffering from a fire I came back in three months and worked with Collin and Lia who have worked very hard to get this place back on its former footing of being a decent place to live.. My remodeled apartment has all new Whirlpool washer, dryer, dishwasher, disposal, stove, oven and built-in microwave, the floors are new and shiny and the bathrooms are remodeled. It's bigger and better and it's a place you can call home. New staffs take a while but Lia and Collin have turned everything around and listen when you have a problem. What more can I say recuperating from a fire where every I owned was lost and it was easier for me since Lia and Collin of Station 21 took ever the whole place looks nice and the staff has improved.. "i absolutely hate to be this person, but my friend and i had a tour today and did not have a pleasant experience at all. we really liked the apartment itself and the property was beautiful, but the person giving us a tour had an attitude, would interrupt or talk over us, and stood by the door on her phone nearly the entire time we were touring in-unit. she didn't feel genuine and seemed like she didn't want to be there, which i get, i work in customer service too. however, upon seeing all of the reviews of poor management at this apartment complex and our bad experience seemingly being one of many, we do not want to settle at a place with such poor management. which is a shame, given we really did love the property."
"by far the WORST place i’ve ever lived. my sister and i both lived here for two years, and it was the worst two years of my life. the parking lot constantly smells like sewage from the dumpsters on the other side of the wall. there are roaches EVERYWHERE. do not try to fight them because it will be a waste of your time. i had my apartment sprayed several times and even started resorting to spending money to exterminate them myself, and nothing worked. i kept the apartment as CLEAN as possible and the bugs are unavoidable. i stopped cooking in my apartment because somehow they would get into closed containers. maintenance never responded to calls, and the gate to the complex was always open. homeless people and addicts were constantly wandering around along the light rail and the police presence on main street was pretty much 24/7. i have never felt unsafe in a neighborhood until i lived here. i was followed home TWICE by random men in broad daylight the first two days i lived here. airflow in the apartments was also horribly non existent and uncomfortable. don’t count on sleeping well because you’ll be woken up by police sirens at night, and lawn mowers early in the morning. also, someone returned my debit card to the front office, and i went to the leasing office to pick it up and the lady at the front was shuffling through random drawers trying to find it because they LOST IT. i never saw it again and had to order a new one. on another occasion, they were repaving the parking lot and the map they sent for which areas to avoid parking in were BACKWARDS. so many cars got towed for a mistake that the managers of the complex made. towards the end of our lease, they wanted to increase our rent by $200 for renovations when all they did was add an ugly coat of paint to the building. they also didn’t tell us what we owed in “damages” within ten days and it took weeks to get our deposit back."
"I have toured over 5 apartment complexes and viewed over 20 apartments online in search of my new home and this is by far the best one. This complex is family friendly and pet friendly. This complex is located in the Asian district and close to many big plazas for shopping. There is a lot of storage space and plenty of space for my cats to run around and play. My unit is the 2 bed, 2 bath platinum unit on the first floor. Pros: - Located in the Asian district - Close to the light rail - Close to Mesa Riverview and Tempe Marketplace - Family and pet friendly - Close to Safeway with two free electric car chargers - Upgraded flooring, modern appliances, lots of storage space - Gym, clubhouse, resort style pools, underground basketball and racket ball courts, dog park Cons: - Long wait times for maintenance requests - Mail room is at the back of the complex - Have to pay for valet trash services - No bedroom ceiling fans - Arizona heat - Poor landscaping - Lengthy application process"
