Santana Ridge Luxury Apartments

"RUNNNNNNNNN. THERE IS OTHER OPTIONS. I applied to this apartment that an apartment finder I was working with found for me. I applied on a Friday I had to put down a hold fee of 300 to even apply with application fees. . That Monday I called to check on the status. Phones were now saying it was a different apartment company. I thought I got scammed. (I live in Alaska moving to AZ, doing this all while in Alaska ) I keep calling and the phones are not working. I started to panic. By the end of that day Monday I left a voicemail on that phone that had a different apartment complex name now. It now said I was calling Higgly Wiggly apartments. Not Santana Ridge. I call back Tuesday and phone are not it even ringing now. I then get a lease emailed to me that Wednesday. A completely wrong with so many errors lease. I sent it back and would not sign until it was correct. I then got another one and again dates were wrong and rent was wrong. I sent it back 5 ( not exaggerating 5 different times). I then had a gut a feeling and decided to not make this my home. The consistency of incompetence was proven and I could only imagine what I would deal with in the future. I called and I finally got through to someone Thursday. I said I would like to change my mind on this apartment. I was then laughed at over the phone from the manager girl name Ottie stating “okay and you’re not getting your money back” I said excuse me. She’s all you were approved once approved no money back. I explained to her I could not get through to you guys on the phone and next I know I’m getting incorrect leases sent to me. She changed her tone into a high pitched voice and said well that’s a dead give away you were approved if you got a lease. I tried to explain to her that’s so odd that’s how you inform future residents that’s how they are approved and by sending error leases after error leases. Ottie then said well you have yourself a good rest of your day and hung up. I called COM their corporate and again bc I was approved I was not able to get my money back. They took no accountability for dropping the ball on their end with me not being able to reach them and sending me countless wrong leases. Who wouldn’t change their mind! I’m telling you it was a blessing to have them mess up and me not signing that lease. I now found a beautiful apartment right on the lake ( and I got emailed a professional approval email with useful information t make this process smooth) like it should be. You guys DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT rent from here if you want a healthy environment. Ottie was extremely rude and seemed to have a huge power trip that she controls people’s money. I never make reviews ever and this one is so long I know. . I just hope it helps the next person. This all took place 2/6/2024. Good luck on your search. And just move pass this one."

"I love living here at Santana Ridge Apts. The community here is amazing, it’s always kept super clean and we feel so safe. We just signed for our 3rd year here and I couldn’t be more happy! Anna the property manager is so amazing and kind and is always here to help! I couldn’t have asked for anything better. ❤️"

"Tried to tour this place 3 times. First time no units, understood. Waited a month and went back as units were available per online, office closed. Went back today and signs for office due to renovations, office closed. Did a drive around and found trash pilled in the back and a property that looks old and needing maintenance. Sadly going to move on"

"I love my home. My visitors love it too. I have wonderful, respectful neighbors and everything is well kept. Before moving here I read reviews about scorpions, but have yet to see any. If ever I need anything which is rare but if I do next day service is provided, they’re terrific. I recommend this beautiful luxury place 100%, and I guarantee you’d love it."

"They hit my mother with the old bait and switch. Advertised the unit at $1850, went and viewed it, once again confirmed $1850, completed and paid $250 for an application, was approved for $1850, go to sign the lease today, and the rent on the lease was for $2050 a month + 2 additional fees that were never discussed. When she asked why it was $2050, they told her they have the right to increase the prices all the way up until the lease was signed but would meet in the middle at $1950. I got a different answer when I called and asked why. He said that he has a price sheet and it was always 2050 even though it is advertised online for $1850 (his exact words) and that’s just the way it is. Also claimed the $1850 was for the previous tenant which is super strange since I have never seen a place advertise an apartment for the price it USED to be? Really shows how great Cam Properties is. This was a huge red flag for us, so she is moving elsewhere. We have reported the employees to the corporate office and the company to the BBB. Stay far away from this place, I could only imagine what other type of stuff they would try to pull on her once she was actually moved in."
