"We went to see the band War. Concert was Great! Venue needs improvement. Arrangement of seats makes it impossible to see stage. Luckily there were two large screens for viewing. I also saw several people struggling to get in and out of seats. They do not accommodate large people. All said War was great! We did not stay at the hotel."

"The 5 star reviews must be written by people who have never been to a resort and have no clue what a resort is supposed to be like. Like one review mentioned, there is no complementary water anywhere, which is very interesting, considering we are in the desert. No coffee available in the morning, no breakfast, nothing. If you want coffee, you will have to walk upstairs and pay $7 for it at Starbucks. I’ve never even seen as much as a cheap Holiday Inn that doesn’t offer free coffee to its guests. No smart TV, so you cant watch anything unless you pay your right arm for a movie or show. No laundry room, which is really tough on people who are here for work. We ended up having to go to a laundromat in town 15 minutes away to wash our clothes. The absolute worst part is that almost all of the rooms are conjoining rooms no soundproof doors, so you will most definitely be in a room where you can hear absolutely everything that your neighbor is doing. For us, that meant extremely loud music all night long. Last but not least, everyone working in the casino is incredibly condescending and rude. We heard them speak extremely aggressively and demeaningly to multiple people who were sitting there spending much more than we were. It seems like Customer Service 101 to treat your most valuable customers with respect. Overall, to have this experience at a place where you are coming in likely spending thousands of dollars to stay and gamble was just ridiculous."

"Professional Drivers, DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! If I could give it zero stars , I would. Was approached by security, before I could even stop, way way in the back of an empty parking lot. He was very passive aggressive and rude (I call it nice nasty) about me parking on property... After all, they used to have truck parking before the renovations..and there is a huge football field of empty space roped off. When I asked about why they don't have parking anymore, security's response was: "Go to the casino down the street, they have semi parking there." I was really looking forward to just wind down a little bit. I only spend my money where I'm respected. I urge you to do the same. People will learn respect when they start losing money behind it."

"The location is good as it’s fairly close to Phoenix and has a mall next door. The food is yummy, and staff is very friendly. The reason I gave rooms a 3 star is: -no bathrobes or slippers, for a “resort” that is pretty standard, - no water stations (hello, we’re in the desert!) and hard to find ice machines. they didn’t offer me water at check in even though I saw a huge water fridge behind the desk. - no room service. Seriously?? - no mini bar. - small and low quality bathroom products. I’ve seriously had better at Homewood Suites. So overall I would say this hotel is lovely but NOT a “resort,” and if you’re just looking for a comfortable place to stay inside a casino, then it’s great."

"Recently we had a conference at the Gila, I give it 5 stars for the Business Center alone. Maria was wonderful to work with. I contacted her before we even arrived, informing her of the packages we were sending and how many. She contacted me when they arrived and made sure that they were in our room when we got there so we didn't have to go hunting for them. We had some large packages to ship back. She made sure that they were all wrapped and ready to go at the end of the conference. Sent me all the tracking numbers and copies of the documents. I wish I could take her with me to all our conferences! What a pleasure to work with her."
