Motel 6 Chandler, AZ

"The lobby was dirty, the room was filthy. We checked under the mattress and yes it was bad. The room smelled of bleach and the bathroom area was dirty as well. We turned around and left. I asked the front desk lady to take it off my card as we decided not to stay. She said we are going to charge you anyway. Very rude and made our first trip to Phoenix a very horrible experience. The price was $294 for two nights. They also charged us a $150 deposit. For a grand total of $444 that we could have spent enjoying Phoenix. I would not make my wife ever stay there."

"I’ve had the unfortunate luck of having to stay at this hotel since September. The ladies that work here are AMAZING! I just heard one of them passed away I think her name was Tracey! Such a sweet lady. Sherry is the absolute best she’s the reason I kept coming back. When I first started staying at the hotel they gave my boyfriend a key to my room, not knowing if I wanted him in my room or not, they didn’t ask for his ID or anything. The same worker one night we were checking in gave us a dirty room & then tried to say it was us that made it dirty. Then they hired like 2 new Indian men that like to talk to people like they’re stupid. Not to mention the price on the rooms has sky rocketed. They went from like $80-90 a night to $157 & up a night unless of course you’re sleeping with the manager, it’s some girl that was staying there that was only being charged like $80 a night. So I’m just glad I won’t have to stay at this hotel again. It started out as a nice place to stay until my apartment was ready to hell. Like I said sherry absolutely should be the manager she’s the only person around there that gives a damn."

"Room was dirty (smelled of cleaning products, but clearly was not cleaned), burn holes throughout the linen , very expensive for what you actually get. If you do stay here, bring your own towels and sleeping bags."

"Expensive over 100 a night on a weekday. Good location clean rooms. Front clerk wasn't too friendly. I has asked if it was going to rain he just said I don't know. He could have looked it up for me or said something a little more exciting."

"I've stayed here many times. Overall, it is a well maintained Motel 6 located in a good neighborhood. However, I had a bad experience with the night auditor last evening. She accused me of having an unregistered guest in my room and informed me that she had video surveillance to prove it. This was totally untrue and I invited her in to verify. She continued to insist that I was not being truthful and then proceeded to monitor the space near our room multiple times throughout the night. The only guest in the room was registered. Her actions felt discrimitory and our privacy was invaded. This really upset me and my guest. We've stayed at this location multiple times and have never caused a problem. We paid for our room and we' did not engage in anything illegal. Nor did we violate any terms of our contact. Treat your guest with more respect. Especially, the ones that are repeat customers!"
