"Really good customer service. One of the ab machines has been broken and when I asked about it, Tony, the district manager contacted me at the gym personally and explained why the machine is out of order and when it would hopefully be back in order. I have been a member for about a month now and my wife also just signed up based on my positive experiences."
"I have been a member at Mountainside for the past 4 years. I’ve tried out other gyms here and there but find Mountainside Desert Ridge to be my favorite! It’s always clean, has excellent vibes and I have yet to have a bad work out. They make it easy to achieve my goals and I have never once felt intimidated. 5 stars!"
"My wife and I went to this gym on our honeymoon. When we entered we advised the girl at the front desk we were here from out of town. She had us fill out our information and give her our IDs. She told us to go workout and another staff member would take care of our day pass after we worked out. At the end of our workout we spoke with the staff member who had our IDs. He related that it would be $22.50 per person for our workout. I told him the girl at the front desk did not tell us that or we would have went to a gym we already have a membership at. He advised she should have told you about the cost. I paid the $45 and left. While in the car I realized that this gym is a part of the BCBS membership we have so my wife went back in to see if we could just sign up for a membership and be refunded. They proceeded to tell us we couldn't sign up because we don't live here. And even if we signed up they couldn't refund the $45 for the day pass. Two hours later we both received unsolicited texts from the gym with our free 5 day gym pass. Not sure what I paid $45 for if they were going to give us free 5-day passes. I leave this review so anyone from out of town is aware that they charge you $22.50 per person to workout and they might not tell you until you're done with your workout."
"Best gym in Phoenix! I’ve tried many different gyms and none have been as good as Mountainside. I love the Desert Ridge location due to the amazing amenities, great equipment, and most importantly the friendly staff. Do yourself a favor and try it out!"
"Great gym! Has plenty of free weights and weight machines. Good amount of treadmills too. Only complaint is that it gets busy at certain times of the day but, it’s hard to find a gym that doesn’t. Would definitely recommend signing up."
