"Rex and his team wrapped a center console for me years ago (2017) which still gets compliments today. Can’t say enough about their professionalism and expertise. Half a decade later I still refer anyone I can to Covers Plus. You’re in good hands with this competent crew."
"What brought me to Covers Plus is their no BS approach, setting correct expectations from the onset. Rex was very upfront and realistic about timing and what I should expect at the end of my Jeep seat recover. Upfront, they asked me for photos and drawings, making certain to exceed my expectations. I’m an advocate for this team and will definitely use them again."
"This is the second boat Rex and his team took care of. When I approached Rex about getting my black boat some coverage from the sun he had a cover in mind. Today I picked it up and could not be happier. The fit and finish shows amazing craft. The cover is functional and protects the boat from the elements. The skirts are easily removable and are tightly secured. Rex and his team did an excellent job. They're always friendly and honest."
"Good: professional, attention to details, quick turnaround. Not so: the headliner is 3 months in, still didn't smoothen out (and apparently never will), and glue smell still dominates inside the cabin no matter what. The technician (Scott ?) said that the fabric looks bumpy due to uneven backing surface, and anyway it won't be noticeable when installed. Apparently neither holds true. Pretty sure the cause is that the clamps have been installed directly to the fabric without any pressure distribution layering (e.g. cardboard). Thus, the foam got compressed in those spots, and cannot expand anymore after the glue has settled. Simple thing which ruined whole work. I could see they're really good with general upholstery, but headliners aren't their strongest point apparently. UPDATE That's quite a bit of a response. Too bad you weren't at the shop at the time of pickup - we would have an interesting conversation I guess. "There were no dimples and you did not mention any unsatisfactory areas" - false ! The whole 15-minute conversation back then was exclusively about dimples. I even picked up a sample of fabric to see if I can do steaming to help the foam expand (still didn't try, right). Factory raised bumps you've mentioned, I didn't notice until pointed at. The tech used them as an excuse why quality result is fundamentally impossible. Paid and left, correct. Only because I've been ensured that "it will not be noticeable when installed", "it will smoothen out over time" and "nothing can be done to improve it anyway". It does not prove the job has been done to perfection. It was just me trying to be reasonable. Guess that was wrong move, should have insisted on quality result right away, no matter what. Taking notes. "neglected to say" ? How about you pick the words more carefully. Yes it was my installation, took well over 2 hrs, with 2 ppl involved, and trim removed in accordance to service manual. And I even gave the headliner one more day to dry back home, after it was already safe to handle, according to the shop staff. But how does it matter if the issues have been claimed day before. Clamps, or fingers, or anything else - it has been mishandled at the shop, and the marks been obvious from beginning. There was no point of coming back, after your staff already ensured me, that nothing can be done to fix it. Then I had to give it time like suggested, to see if it smoothens out by itself. And seems it has, a little. But would be great if you guys coordinate what and how you tell customers. Posted 3 months later as recently took a ride in back seat, and saw all this beauty again. No controversy or faking like you imply. Misrepresentation and false accusations, intentional or not, are not helping here. Taking one star off. And anyway, have zero desire to continue any communication in this manner. . OMG you keep going on. "you were not aware that 3 individuals witnessed the conversation" Pretty sure I was, because I myself asked to call somebody who can explain what's wrong with the headliner, after I saw front desk lady is confused. "your installation of the headliner in our parking lot" The sunroof alone is 40 lb tabletop sized assembly which you say I installed on your parking lot all by myself ? I have no idea where this insanity is coming from, if you're being misinformed by your employees, or trying to defend your position by any means. Neither I care. Can't offer a hard evidence, but there's an undeniable fact: you don't have a 15-minute conversation with technical staff, if the job is done right. I've left you polite, correct and truthful review. Got back blaming, misrepresentation and personal offense. Good indication of what happens when things go south with your business. And please, leave alone your "customer care" and "offers to help", as apparently it's a favor you're doing on paid basis to fix your own issues. It took me a full day on disassembly/installation combined, and almost $400 on your invoice; that's enough I think. Can't even spell my name without error."
