Grand Hotel 6733 East Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85205

"I dont know why it is only a 3 star hotel. This place is a very nice, and very quiet, and the staff is very nice. The only problem is that the rent is not what is advertised, but, i paid the extra $$$ with no complaints. This hotel is awesome. Very worth it. I suggest stopping in."

"The reviews I read said this was a 2 star motel? Anything you have to remove the H and replace it with an M doesn't deserve 2 stars. Hell I didn't want to give them 1 star but I had to show something on the review. Not worth 90 bucks a night unless your an 80's rock band wanting to trash the place on a concert weekend bender. Nasty, gross, dirty and I can't help but feel like bugs are everywhere!"

"This place is great. Came from another state for work. Staff are so nice & friendly and they keep it very clean and secure at night. It's quite and everything works great. Some say you get what you pay for...I feel you get a little more than that here."

"So the place is cheap. Good for travelers on a tight budget. That being said, I’d rate it a one star due to the cleanliness of the room when we checked in. It smelled funky, it was clear it hadn’t been vacuumed since the last guest, there was a mess in the fridge, broken glass on the accent chair, and blood on the bathroom floor. The thing that saved my rating was the customer service, which I’d give five stars. We didn’t feel comfortable staying so I called the guy at the front desk to see if we could get a refund. He said he couldn’t do it for the first night since it was a no cancellation reservation, but said he’d take off the second night and give us a different room. We didn’t want to stay but we’re fine with the partial refund. He came up to our room to see the situation as we gathering our luggage and upon seeing the mess, ended up giving us a full refund, for which we’re very grateful. If they could just get house keeping to do a better job it would be a decent enough place to stay on a budget. The ac worked well and the bed seemed comfy."

"The room was okay. No sign of any bugs (from previous reviews). But the sheets, blanket, and pillow all had stains. While they seemed clean they certainly didn’t make us feel clean. But I’m not sure where the friendliness or good customer service was. We were going to pay on our card for our room, and we’re told we needed a 100$ CASH deposit for damage. Not sure why they couldn’t put a hold on the Credit card instead? It seems like there was one issue after another. Next time I’ll pay a little more and get a nicer hotel. It will be worth it for the clean stain free-bedding and good night sleep."
