"They are remodeling and are doing a nice job. But for the life of me, I can't understand why they don't upgrade their TV's from the small old timey cracker jack box sized televisions! Very poor quality TV's (size and pic quality) which is sad because they've done so much work. The value is great, but my suggestion would be to do away with unnecessary telephones in rooms and upgrade the TV's! Lots of work going on but also lots of employees loitering at the entrance all day and all night. They are very friendly, but it is somewhat tacky with them fraternizing and playing cards and talking on their phones, etc, etc. At all hours. It's harmless and they are all very friendly. It's not thier fault, it's management's responsibility to maintain a professional appearance. Overall, I wouldn't go back just because of the televisions. The location is perfect for going to Saguaro national park!"

"First off, booked through Expedia and it should be noted it is Under Construction! And it’s random rooms. Why not block off a whole section and work on that instead of random rooms??…logic helps. I needed to check in early and was accommodated which was nice. First room was a big NO. Smelled like smoke. Hall window was open so any outside smoke goes into the hall/rooms. Second room was better but had to walk through the construction. I was exhausted so didn’t care. In the room, there’s no microwave or coffee pot and the frig was stuck on a wall by itself. Seemed odd. The bathroom had no towel bar and sink area was tiny given all the room in the bed area. (King 1 bedroom). And the bed spread and blanket had burn holes…i mean come on . Attention to detail! it was convenient to Sagauro NP which is why i stayed here. There was also no breakfast items , just coffee but maybe i missed that memo. Good thing Dennys is a 3 min walk. For me, the staff were nice and helpful. I know construction is corporate but someone needs to actually think of the customers when planning it. Take out a whole floor wing instead of random rooms and don’t make customers walk through it. Also, they should be starting at 9 am and ending at 5 pm. Overpriced for what was going on but exhaustion wins sometimes. I did happen to catch the SpaceX flight from my window..that was cool."

"Stayed at this hotel in room 319 today and the front desk stuff is rude and has a bad attitude. I wasn’t greeted when I checked in and I wasn’t told about a breakfast, WiFi, where my room is or anything. They just basically threw my room key at me. I came in being nice and asking how are you and I’m met with “what?” Is “what” how you greet paying customers? And the room doesn’t have a do not disturb sign. Called the front desk and they wouldn’t answer the phone and called 10387 times and they finally answered and they were very rude and don’t explain anything to you. They just rudely said I need to go get it and I already settled in for the night so I have to get changed and go back down. I wish I can check out earlier. This hotel doesn’t even have the basics. It’s so stupid I have to get a do not disturb sign from front desk it should be in my room automatically. This hotel SUCKS"

"Should've known better. The room was not swept. Smelt like smoke and dog. There was red hair in the sink still. AND.... THE SMOKE DETECTOR was covered with a plastic bag. NOT SAFE AT ALL. The gentleman at night was much nicer than the daytime people. Then Thursday there was a building fire alarm mid day after a graveyard shift for my husband without warning to let us know it was just a drill. After his last day of graveyard, we decided to leave at 3 AM because it was just uncomfortable. I've stayed at places before like this, but this was the worst."
