AutoNation Chevrolet Arrowhead

"My advisor was pleasant but there were just some things outside of customer service that did not sit right with me. I had an appointment scheduled for a recall. I was told by two people over the phone that a full inspection would be done on the vehicle and explained this again once I got to the dealership. My appointment was at 1:30 and I arrived around 12:45. However a full inspection was not done because they did not have time due to the need to repair my vehicle from the recall. If this is the case, why not tell me prior to finishing the work. I even sent a text to my advisor letting him know just in case if they couldn't get to the recall or if the parts were not in, that I had another appointment coming up and could come in then, and was told they will let me know once the inspection was completed. On top of this I was told because I brought the vehicle in late they didn't have time for the full inspection. How is 12:45 for a 1:30 appointment considered late? I know they leave at 5, but what happened to having the customer's interest at heart. When I got the vehicle back my hood was open and the parking brake was left on. Isn't this something that should have been checked prior to giving me my vehicle back. Like that is a full blown hazard. I gave them a 10 on the customer service survey but I just have doubts if I'll ever go back for repairs or service."

"Dean Simpson Jr was a wonderful help throughout the process, I really appreciated his customer service. Also the whole drive in setup and waiting area is really nice. Clean and large, easy to walk around if there for a long wait. Service was through and price felt appropriate."

"Brought my car in for an oil change and to have a "Service Brake Assist" message checked. Was told a multi-point inspection would be $189. Made early morning (7am) appointment and did not hear back until after 2:00 and was told that my water pump was going bad along with my tire air pressure sensors, tires, battery, brakes. All in all over $5,000 in repairs recommended. Was told the Brake Assist message was due to a low battery. Asked to take the car for an estimate somewhere else and asked them just to do the oil change. At 5:30, I had to ask if the car would be ready for pickup before close at 6:00 and was told it would not. Very frustrated as there was no reason it should not have been ready the same day. After receiving the vehicle back the next day, we noticed a fairly large oil leak in the driveway. There had been no leaks prior to the servicing. Took the car back and they said the oil pan plug was leaking so they replaced it and topped off the oil. Feel like the markup on all the things that needed repairs was ridiculously high. We had been using this location for years for oil changes and servicing while everything was under warranty and they were always pretty good to deal with. Vehicle no longer under warranty. Highly disappointed this time and will most likely never return."
