If you do not have a place you regularly take your vehicles to I highly recommend taking them there. "I was given a verbal estimate of the cost of HVAC service (compressor replacement), which I paid upon completion, and at which point I received an invoice. Subsequently, I reviewed the invoice and found a $100 “total fee” had been embedded in the cost of my service and contacted the store manager. I was told it was a “computer generated”charge applied to all services and that he had no way to wave it. During the discussion I was informed the charge was based upon a percentage of the cost of the service, up to a maximum of $100. He referred to it as a “shop charge”. I view it as a “surcharge”. Either way, it should have been disclosed upfront. I was told I would have to contact Meineke Corporate. They told me it was a local franchise issue, which would have to be resolved with the franchise. Thus far, there has been no resolution. I AM NOT HAPPY!"

"Took my vehicle in thinking it was an exhaust problem, and it turned out to be broken motor mounts. The vehicle was repaired within four hours, and at a cost below what I would’ve paid at the dealership. The employee behind the desk was friendly and pleasant. Great experience."
