"Came in looking to get rid of some clothes that I’ve been holding on to for a while. Kacie helped me out and was super friendly. I wasn’t looking to shop but I actually found a T-shirt I liked because of their good selection."

"I brought clothes that still had tags and brand new. NONE of it was accepted (they said it was due to full inventory), despite it being on trend with what girls my age wear AND name brands. They texted me 2 minutes later saying it was ready for pickup, 2 MINUTES! So disappointed in the bad customer service and the laziness to not go through the clothing. This was my first time going / bringing clothes to Platos Closet and it will be my last. It couldn’t have gone worse."

"Don’t waste your time here. You can bring in baskets of clothes and the “employees” which are just some incompetent teenage girls.. will not even bother to look through them. Then proceed to give my stuff back exactly how I folded them and put them in the basket and not take a single thing saying that they have full inventory or it was worn/out of style… you didn’t even bother to look through any of it??? Most of the stuff they have on the floor is overpriced shein,stained,out of style etc it makes no sense. Maybe start with training your employees to do the bare minimum"

"It would be really helpful if whoever owns this franchise cared just as much about training their employees on customer service and running a store than they did filling their pockets with profits. The management of this store is a joke. These teens have zero integrity and character. We've learned our lesson to not bring clothes to consign here- I don't think the employees are trained to know how to do this. Overall would not recommend."

"I specifically called prior to hauling all of my clothes down to confirm they did take plus size (XL, 1X and a few 2X) and tall men’s clothes (XL Tall, 1X Tall, 2X Tall). They confirmed they did. I brought at least 10 bags down of GENTLY used women’s and barely used men’s. Lots of Torrid, Lucky Brand jeans (maybe worn once) and other decent brands. Lots even still had tags, so obviously had never been worn. Out of all of it they chose ONE pair of jeans and a couple dresses from like JCPenny, Fred Meyer and other “cheaper” shops. I wish they would have just been honest that they DIDN’T WANT PLUS SIZE CLOTHES. Instead of telling me nonsense about how they are “worn”. I made very sure the things I brought in were “gently used” or not used at all. Save us all a lot of time and just tell people upfront you aren’t interested in carrying clothes for fat people (like myself). Plus the teenagers in there were rude and seemed annoyed that they have to do the bare minimum for their jobs. Definitely NOT a place I’ll be bringing clothes and won’t be shopping there."
