"Jason is rude, lazy and not helpful. Came in to buy four tires for my truck, he only offered one option. When I asked about the tires, he was clearly bothered, as if I was wasting his time. I gave it two stars only because the other guy that works the front during the week has been great every time we've been there. As long as Jason is there, we won't be going back. I ended up going to Sam's Club, where I was treated like a valued customer."
"Over the phone Jason said yes bring you're car we'll make sure you get you're car going on road again. Replaced my engine with a bad engine and called that my car was ready...i pick up my car and driving home I thought my car was gonna explode with smoke from engine and muffler..they said they didn't test drive my car because it was "low on gas" then sent me to a different location where they replaced engine again.. When I picked up my car the check engine light was on and engine started leaking ALLOT . When I removed the engine cover I found disconnected hoses laying over across sitting directly on the extremely hot engine where there were melted hoses...I couldn't believe what I was looking at...TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE My car will never go back to another PEP BOYS but it's not the last they hear of me. I wish I could post pics"
"Took over two hours after my scheduled drop off to do my oil change. and then the tire rotation I requested wasn't even completed. The guy at the front kept saying their system was down. Now I have to go again before my trip to get my tires checked a second time. I requested both but got my vehicle back without the tires being completed. I won't be coming back"
"Always make an appointment and you won't wait for very long for your vehicle to be ready. Everyone I have encountered is very nice. They also always have some sort of coupon running for every service/purchase."
"Pep Boys takes care of my commercial fleet at work and were always fantastic. So, I started taking my own car there as well. Jason and his team at the Northern Ave location are always fast and happy to work me in when I have an unexpected issue. Regular maintenance is a worry free breeze with this team.
