"I've dealt with ths jewelry department for 7 years now. A year or so ago, I had excellent service from Marissa; and I let her manager, Paula know. Then last night (Saturday) I brought in two of my quartz watches that needed new batteries. Paula and Denise tried their best to help me. They had trouble getting the back of one watch screwed down while the other watch's back was so hard to remove, Paula cut herself trying to remove the back. I ended up leaving both watches with them, and indicated that if I could get both back by next Saturday, that would be fine. And then this morning I got a call from Beth that both watches were done and ready for pick up. I swung by today and got both watches. Paula handed me an envelope with both watches and the times were set too! The price was more than fair to me, thank you Paula, Denise, and Beth! You gals rock! ;-)"

"Save yourself the headache of dealing with this place. My husband and I purchased 2 of our rings from here and within a year, both had several stones lose or fall out. Each time they went in for repair, they were very unhelpful, can never find us in the system and act very annoyed. Each time I have had to call and get Denise, she is extremely rude, dismissive, tells me that she doesn't know if they have our rings, and has the absolute worse customer service. When i called her out for her rudeness for just checking on my ring, all she could do today is blame her poor service on her co-worker Paula which I found bizarre. Take your business elsewhere."

"I went to Fred Meyer Jewelers yesterday shopping for a ring. After trying on numerous rings, I found one that I liked and it was clearly marked in the display case at $427. In addition, everything in the Jewelry department is 25% off. Because the ring was a sapphire (my birthstone) and it was September, there was an additional discount of 25%. After I asked what the cost would be with the discounts, I was told the bright yellow $427 sign was placed in error, and the actual cost was $688. What? I thought a store had to honor a clearly marked price, regardless of it was a mistake or not. I was very disappointed to find the new cost of the ring with discounts was more than the $427 clearly marked price in the display case. Fred Meyer Jewelers has disappointed me in the past, and this just reinforced my opinion. I will not purchase from them again and would not recommend them for anything."
