Reviews of FireFusion Studio & Delia Dante Gallery
"This was an amazing experience. Christina made my first attempt at metal smithing fun, exciting and very promising. She is an excellent instructor and I can’t wait to take my next class."
"Delia Dante studio classes are always wonderful. Christina was a delightful instructor, and we were able to make a gorgeous Spinner Ring in one session. Patient, Informative, and Inspiring!"
"I recently took a 3-hour metalworking class at FireFusion Studio & Delia Dante Gallery, and it exceeded all my expectations! The class was an amazing hands-on experience that walked us through old-world metalworking techniques to build a spinner ring. The variety of materials available during this session, including copper, brass, silver, rose, and yellow gold. I opted for copper to start as it was the most basic metal and is easy to acquire with a brass "spinner". Entering the studio everyone was very friendly! I was initially concerned about the acoustics in the studio (very echoey), however, there was a separate workshop, in which we worked, which was extremely clean and well-organized, making it a comfortable space to learn and create. Our instructor, Christina, was a gem! She provided clear instructions at every step, making the process very enjoyable and easy to follow. Christina was not only friendly and patient but also incredibly welcoming, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere in the studio. What truly made this class outstanding was that I felt empowered to create something unique (within the parameters of the class, of course). Christina's guidance through the basic skills, techniques, and tool handling was invaluable. Additionally, interacting with other students and seeing their unique creations take shape added an extra layer of enjoyment to the class. If you're looking for a hands-on, educational, and fun metalworking experience, this is the place to be. I'll definitely be returning for more classes (enameling!) in the future. Thank you, FireFusion Studio, for a memorable, unique, and enriching experience!"
"On a whim, I took a spinner-ring class at FireFusion — and it was a fascinating evening. The Delia Danta gallery is a beautiful space full of wondrous artworks (and tempting jewelry and gift items). The workshop where classes are held is fully stocked with tools and materials and is a marvel of organization. Our instructor, Christina, guided the four of us in the class as we made our rings, all of which turned out beautifully. I am not a "crafty" person, but I am very proud of my new ring, and I am looking forward to participating in more classes and workshops. This would be a GREAT activity to do with a good buddy or a teenage granddaughter or niece. Highly recommend."
"We took the two--person, four-hour welding class as with Delia, and it was flipping amazing! That girl is on fire! She is an incredible teacher and artist and very patient with novices. We went through all phases of welding, and learned so much. Much respect to Delia. Her talent is truly amazing. We are in awe. If you are looking for an adventure to do as a couple (or solo), we highly recommend doing this."
