"I recently wanted to enhance/upgrade my wedding ring to add a large center diamond i had purchased loose months before. The design I envisioned was rather unusual, and I was determined to find a jeweler which could execute my vision. "The lady running the store was very nice and helpful. Excellent selection of loose gems. I had to get a rough garnet since I'm visiting the state. You can also get loose and set star garnets. There are excellent specimens to see, but not all are sale. They will polish and set gems and repair jewelry. Ask to dig around the back though the rough piles. They aren't well organized, but there are some good pieces. The main rough consists of geodes, thunder eggs, plume agate, snakeskin agate, obsidian, and picture jasper. Minimal slabs, but nice ones. The fossil plates, polished labradorite, and agate bookends would make nice gifts."
