"Beyond the Dog has made getting a puppy a wonderful experience. At 12 weeks, the trainer picked up our girl and she came back a well mannered toddler pup. Erin the trainer brought our pup home and spent much time showing us all she has learned as well as showing us how to continue her training. We also have used Erin to watch our dog while we go out of town. Our dog loves going over to Erin’s house to play with the other dogs. It is very reassuring knowing she is well taken care of while we are out of town. I highly recommend Beyond the Dog to anyone who wants their dog trained!"

"Beyond the Dog and especially Erin Ventura, our Trainer are absolutely phenomenal! My 1.5 year old Sofie definitely had me trained before Erin started working with us. Over time Erin has turned that around—reactivity, barking, jumping, sit, stay, wait, place, come. Sofie is a joy to walk now. Choosing BtD for training has been the absolute best investment for Sofie and me! Just as important, Erin had effective solutions for my physical challenges like weak wrists, hand arthritis, bad knees and inability to run. "After we rescued our dog, Zain, we discovered he had a large reactivity problem with house guests or anyone approaching him. He would growl and truly never settle down the entire time anyone was near him. We were at our wits end with trying to teach him that people aren't bad, and honestly felt like he may not be the right fit for our family. After one particularly rough incident with a guest, we decided it was time to reach out for some help. We called multiple companies in Kansas City and all of them told us that our dog may just need to permanently wear a muzzle when guests came over. We finally called Beyond the dog, and wow, are we glad we did. From our initial phone call, everyone at Beyond the dog was reassuring while also being realistic. We decided to go forward with the all inclusive program and were matched with Tiffany as our trainer. Tiffany's first day, she was able to take Zain on a walk - something we truly were shocked by. Tiffany had the confidence to work with Zain, and reassured us the entire session that she thought he would improve. Tiffany took the time to make sure that we understood each step that we needed to take to work with Zain. She is also just a great person and incredibly easy to chat with - something we appreciated with someone who would be in our home 4 days a week! As our sessions progressed, we could see the huge improvements in Zain. He no longer growled when a guest walked in, and would settle down. Eventually getting to the point of letting guests pet him! We still have one more follow up session to complete, but as our time comes to a close with our trainings - I truly cannot believe what a different dog we have. Zain now openly greets guests, and warms up to them quickly - even requesting pets immediately or giving guests a nice lick. I cannot recommend Beyond the dog highly enough, and am so grateful for Tiffany's help. Sure, the price is high - but our dog went from hating guests to absolutely loving them - completely worth it in my book. Thank you Beyond the Dog (especially Tiffany!) For helping us better understand our dog and finding peace in our home."

"Maybe 10 stars! Erin was absolutely the best in working with our great big loving Bernese Mountain Dog puppy who had a tendency to be over-enthusiastic when it came to meeting new people. Erin worked worked with her to walk with us rather than pull us around, how to be good and stay in place and how to be the 85 pound love pup we knew she could be. It was fantastic to have her work with our dog at our house, in our neighborhood and even to some retail stores. I really think our pup loves Erin more than us! When we needed to go out of town, Erin looked after our dog for a fun vacation for all. When summer comes around I'll probably ask Erin to come back out for advanced dog lessons, just to make sure she continues to do those things she's been taught. Couldn't be more pleased with the process, the company and Erin the trainer!"

"I could rave about Beyond the Dog and our trainer Erin all day long!! Our dog, Archie, was attacked by a dog while on a walk, and he was very scared and reactive after that experience. He also barked nonstop when guests enter our home. Erin met with Archie every day for a month, and she taught us so many new skills and strategies to help Archie. Now, he trusts dogs again, can walk by dogs without reacting, and is so much more confident while on walks. Erin also taught us steps to take with Archie when guests come to our house. We went from Archie barking at one guest nonstop to being able to have a group of 15 at our house with minimal to no barking from Archie because of the steps Erin taught us. Overall, Archie is a much more happy and confident dog after his training with Erin. I couldn't recommend Beyond the Dog enough to people!"
