"I'm not sure if there is a racist thing going on or just an ignorance towards someone who can fund their own education. I tried to begin a degree at the U of I in 2017, a bachelor's or master's degree in criminal justice. I had already completed 3 years toward a 2 year degree at a community College. The U of I refused my application, stating in a letter that the admissions department is responsible for matching potential students accordingly to their educational background and could not approve my application at the time. I tried again the following semester and was again denied. I tried to apply for a degree in psychology and I was again denied. The fourth time I applied for admission at the U of I I did not get any response at all. I guess they think they're too good to have some people."
"Visited my son for Parents weekend. Had a great time. The University is quaint and welcoming. Lots of trails and a beautiful arboretum and gardens"
"The only thing that I dislike about the University is their parking, and their Parking & Transportation Faculty...oh my they're biased and they don't give out Delivery Passes to FTV & JAMM majors, who need it more than anyone else. The Parking Lot System also make no sense; there's more faculty parking than student parking, yet they wonder why students have to park illegally. Other than that, I love this university."
"I drive through campus regularly to check out progress on the new basketball arena which is under construction. After the concrete work was completed, progress is going much faster. Interesting, and it is going to be very attractive. Features 100% Idaho timber."
"Amazing school with amazing people. I really enjoyed the five years I spent here. The school caters to Law, Agriculture and Sciences mostly. It has really good pricing and sees many out of state students because of this. If your unsure of what school to go to or do not know what you want to do I recommend going here to figure things out as you will have a blast while learning some fascinating material. The school sits only 1/4 mile from downtown Moscow which is a great place to grab a bite to eat or visit the local bike shops. It is also only a 30 minute drive from Moscow Mountain which has great mountain biking and hiking trails. The University of Idaho is a hidden gem. Don't pass it up if given the opportunity to attend."
