"The installer failed to caulk the window above our kitchen sink which allowed rain to enter the kitchen and the all. This required a replacement of the countertop and repair of the wall below the window. Furthermore, the sliding patio door did not function properly and was replaced, then repaired. Also there was apparently no insulation around the upper two corners of the patio door as cold air blew into the dining area through that area. It took nearly two years (just two weeks shy) for everything to be completed. I do NOT recommend this company for any work they perform. Other businesses will undoubtedly charge more for their work, but the savings is not worth the hassle!"
"The installation of my Bay Window expertly done, I have no complaints. Recommends Sears window replacement to everyone whose looking to replace windows in their home."
"So far my windows are not installed. I’ve been told they only have one installer. He seems to have an attitude problem because of that. I tried to call management for three days They will not call back. They continue to send confusing and contradictory texts and emails. I would never recommend them and wish I could get out of business with them. Unfortunately they have you between a rock and a hard place once they start to produce your windows. Then you are at their mercy."
"The window installation was great! The installer was professional, completed the work, and it looks great. The scheduling and coordination of this project was not seamless. From the initial visit to the install took more than 2 months. While we did have access to a project portal for status updates, the information available was very vague. Also outside of the initial visit, I do not believe we interacted with anyone that was local to our area. I'm positive all of the delays will be attributed to supply shortages related to the pandemic."
"The initial meet and quote was great. Everything (complete scope of the job) was written out for the contract.Within 2 weeks we received a call to schedule install. Install was scheduled, but when the contractor arrived, we were told that he wouldn't be able to complete the job. Within 2 minutes of the arrival, he was gone. We tried getting in contact with the project manager to see what was going on. Already upset that things happened the way it did on the day of the install, getting no answer on the same day made it worse. The next day the project manager called saying that she would give us a call as soon as she knew something. We left her alone for a week. The following week, we called multiple times and left multiple messages. We were then told that she was trying to find another contractor to install the windows and she would give us a call when she did. During the second week we only became more furious. Instead of calling the project manager, we called the sales and service department. When we finally got through to someone, we were told that there was supposedly something scheduled a few days out, but we hadn't received a call. On the day that there was supposedly something scheduled, we called only to leave a voicemail. We then tried calling the district/area manager. That was a call that was never returned. Finally, we tried calling the project manager again, and we were told that the appointment for install would be the following day, and that because it took 3 weeks for the job to get done, we were offered a gift card. We asked for some type of compensation because of the inconvenience. We financed for the windows, and had received our first bill before the windows were even installed. When the windows were installed, one of the windows had to be immediately serviced. We would have given 2 stars, but they did at least try to honor our request for compensation, and the fact that they are nice windows."
