Renaissance Place at Grand

"Worst property office possible ever. In my experience with the property management office at Renaissance Place Grand they have demonstrated to be the most unethical, unprofessional, and underperforming forming office ever assembled in an office. If there was a basic audit conducted of the operations at that office they would fail under compliance risk, conduct risk, operations risk. I plan on filing a official company with the BBB, AG, and state and federal regulators based on the collection of violations I’ve captured from their office and their inability to have proper controls and escalation practices in place to deal with the issues. Complaints related to the inability to make timely repairs to weapons and crime being reported and the office not willing to take the proper steps to protect residents at a base level, to inconsistent application of “house rules”. The most recent being not allowing paying residents access to the gated parking lots without providing full vehicle registration paperwork. This after years of residents complaining of non working gated parking lots that lead to thefts and violence. It’s ridiculous to ask residents to provide vehicle registrations to a non government institution just to gain access to a gated parking lot that they find through their rent payments. There is no protocol or procedure in place to assure that the registrations information is protected."

"We are loyal tenants, pay our rent early and have never been late sine we moved here in 2020. Although we love this property, your company has not provided maintenance request despite all of the calls, and portal request. We keep getting the run around with leasing office, excuses, they assure us the work orders has been placed but maintenance has not provided the services requested. Maintenance stop by once l, left and didnt complete tasks. We are truly frustrated and don't know where to turn. I understand that by right we can deduct the cost of rent in order to cover for repairs. It's been weeks of patients. So the 1 star is for maintenance only. Please reach out to us in order to get this rectified. Thanks"

"Where do I start! The property manager turn over is high, you will never know who is managing. The property Manager by the name of Ms Chavanell is rude, forgetful and ghetto. Th whole place is a mess and ran poorly as far as trying to move in and customer service. We have been getting the run around since we been approved (market rate) May 5, 2023 and it is now mid September. she has verbally told us to be patient after telling us twice they have given away our unit just mishandle our rental application and move in date. Many of my friends and family has recently moved due to the staff being rude with poor staffing issues and working with one maintenance worker for well over two years! The receptionist never answers the phone and manager don't come to the phone because 90% of the time its a upset resident or potential resident on the other end ready to give them an ear full. All they do is sit and gossip, eat and watch the phone ring in that office. don't ask for copies of nothing cause they wouldn't know."

"The communication from inside of the office is horrible they don't have enough workers they do not answer the phone or return call or even empty the mailbox for future calls . I pay almost $1,000 every month with no assistance and that does not matter I would think they would separate people who are getting assistance from those who have real jobs. You can hear everything you're neighbor says from running up and down the stairs to them closing their doors. Was told I was getting into a new apartment with no neighbors to move in to have neighbors on both sides with grown men and children with just me and my eight year old is uncomfortable. Not able to workout room pool or any of the amenities that were listed in the price prior to moving in been here almost a year and have not been able to get in any. Next step for me it's a speak with a lawyer about my lease have already talked to the Better Business bureau"
