Oak Forest Apartments

"DONT MOVE HERE!!! If you want a staff that will disrespect you and take 2 months to a year on your work order then this might just be the place for you. I have lived at oak forest for a year and a half and have not been satisfied with the service.the propotie manager and assistant manager will both talk to you anyway,refuse to give you information,and Evict you for any type of reason they can think.they also claim they have nothing to do with maintenance so dont expect a miracle.ive also had a sewer back up that has not been fix for the past 3 months.my apartment is unbearable to live in but they still expect rent even if your apartment is not liveabke. To conclude just some bullies with to much control to do and say as they please. Property manager [Megan] needs to check her attitude she so quick to anger that you can't even talk to her and her assistant manager will defend her action because she is no better"

"Oak Forest apartments are a great value. While it’s an older property, the office and maintenance staff are friendly and work very hard to stay on top of things. It’s clear they put much effort in creating a safe and kept community. I definitely recommend this complex especially if you don’t mind the issues that come with an older property (you will likely submit a maintenance request or two)."

"Been here about 5 yrs and have had no issues, it's quiet, dog friendly love the Adult only pool. Haven't had any issues thanks to Mellisa and Denise for always responding to emails and staying on top of things as asked. Really recommended affordable apartments."

"When I first moved here the place was a disaster & I was 100% certain I would not stay past the initial lease. But under new ownership/management, the place has greatly improved. Unlike before, I now receive incredible service from the leasing office manager and her team. The maintenance requests are now answered in a timely manner and they have been doing regular upgrades to my unit. The most noticeable change is the massive drop in crime, mainly auto break-ins and theft. The new management installed huge safety lights and have law enforcement regularly patrol the area. It also feels like they are doing a better job at vetting incoming tenants and I see ongoing landscaping and remodeling projects underway so they are putting up the dollars to make this place nicer."

"My mother and I have been residents for over 5 years. I must say that the new management was dealt a mess and are thoroughly trying their best to clean it up. For the negative reviews regarding the pool....please go back and read your lease. There are also signs posted everywhere. To keep the tenants safe this seems like an easy policy to follow. I have had tremendous help from Denise & Melissa. They respond in a timely manner and are very professional. I will say the maintenance department desperately needs help."
