"Kayla is probably the worst property manager I've ever lived under. Worst communication skills and is very petty. These apartments are not worth it. Not worth the stress and annoyance every other business day. If you have another option to live somewhere else take it. I regret my choice ever signing my lease, dirty carpet in my apartment that they won't fix. Our dishwasher does not work because kayla simply doesn't want to order another. We paid rent in december and then randomly had a 100 dollar late fee that we called and asked about. No one knew why it was there so they took it away. It is usually not a good sign when people don't know why they are charging you but still continue with it? You would think that common sense exists and there would be a reason but no. Not here. Be careful and stay away. EDIT: maintenance came by today and left beer caps on our kitchen floor. Which is highly unprofessional and disrespectful. These people do not care about you or your family."

"On top of the fact that none of my interior doors shut correctly, my wall outlets are loose and non of my light bulbs match. My toilet was cracked on my arrival when moving in. They change the air filters 2 times a year, once with each biannual fire inspection. The water isn't consistent and temperature fluctuates when other units use water. I can't even see out my windows because the water damaged invetween windows panes. There's trash IN THE TREES!! There isn't enough parking and not enough laundry units per building, 5 washers 5 dryers per 3 buildings. Now we can't back out cars in, no work vehicles, trailers or boats. So, sorry to the blue collar workers with utility vehicles, you're not welcome here. Office staff tends to be arrogant as if they own your life because you live here. Wouldn't recommend. When closing out my lease I was offered a 300 credit for my next month,,, petty."

"My roommate and I rented with Kayla and her team at the Retreat at Woodridge for six years. Her team was always quick to respond to maintenance requests, she always greeted us with a smile and the unit was affordable. Were there things we wished were different, sure! But the location, staff and neighbors were all wonderful. The only reason we left our unit was because I got married. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for an affordable, clean and well maintained unit in Johnson County. (At the time of this post, units were owned by Monarch Investments)"

"I want to say the property Manager Kayla and her staff are wonderful. Very welcoming,caring and helpful when it comes to taking care of the tenants and their needs. It's a great atmosphere and environment. I definitely would recommend anyone to come and live at the retreat you won't be disappointed."
