AAA Commercial Transmission

"I would not recommend doing business with this shop. I have not had any vehicle worked on here, but I never will. I had an issue with a man driving a work van on Dorothy Avenue in Brentwood. It is a narrow street, and it was extra crowded with trucks from the construction workers who were working on the elementary school. I was almost down the street when the work van turned from Litzsinger to Dorothy. He blocked me and refused to let me pass. I had nowhere to go. If I had moved, I would have side swiped the work van and/or one of the trucks to my right. He refused to back up. He just sat there waving and laughing at me. He's a psycho! His crazy behavior made me late for work. I called the number on the side of the van to report the driver. The owner of the business called me back and was so upset. She said she had dropped the vehicle off at Commercial Transmission, and the guy in the trucked worked for the shop, not her business. She was so angry that he was behaving like that in a vehicle with her business logo plastered all over it. This guy clearly does not care about his customers or how his actions reflect his or his customers businesses in a negative manner. Find a different shop for your vehicle repair needs."

"Will never take my vehicle back here again! Spent around 3k here getting my transmission replaced. A few weeks later my car stopped going in reverse. They had told me if I have issues to just bring it back. So I did. I brought it back to the shop after hours and left a note to call my dad about it as I would be out of town for a week. I called and spoke with a mechanic about ALL of this beforehand also. I got home a week later and my dad said he received no calls from anyone. So I called the shop and was told that they still had not "had a chance" to even look at my car. I called 4 days later and was told they'd "get to it when they can". I called another 4 days later and was told "oh it's been ready for over a week we just didn't know how to contact you." Uh, what? First off all, you had MY number AND my dad's number. Plus, it's been ready for a WEEK?? After I just spent HUNDREDS on ubers over the past 2.5 weeks?! Omg I was LIVID. So I go to pick my car up, and was told a wire got pulled out due to my motor mounts being broken. At this point I didn't trust these people anymore so I took my car and left. I took it to another shop and my new mechanic found a LOOSE NUT from when they did my transmission and that was the ONLY problem my car had. He showed me my motor mounts and there wasn't a single thing wrong with them. I would not recommend Commercial Transmission to my worst enemy, even if they paid me. These guys have no clue. Very happy I did not allow them or anyone else to "fix" my motor mounts and charge me several hundred dollars more for no reason. Do yourself a favor and avoid these scammers and find a mechanic you can trust."

"I took my Audi a3 to them for a quote on a transmission, they stole my tow hook insert and disassembled my performance intake and never reassembled it as-well as lost screws for the intake box. Very rude old man wouldn’t give me my keys because I said I would pick the car up when I was off work and had a trailer. I’m sure their work is alright but just a terrible experience"

"0/5 stars Terrible customer service and very unprofessional. Didn’t know how to diagnose a transmission let alone fix it. Hung up on us several times and then got mad at us for calling and asking when it was gonna be fixed and they said they weren’t gonna fix it and to come pick it up. Transmission is still messed up. Highly recommend going somewhere else"

"I can't really give this company one star but I had to click on a star for my review to be posted. Last week my 16 year old son called AAA, on the recommendation from our local repair shop, about problems with his F150. He dropped the truck off Thursday. He had to work Friday and isn't able to talk on the phone while he's working so I called AAA to see if they'd had a chance to look at it, what questions they had, etc. The man I spoke to on the phone interrupted me frequently, and said he wanted to talk to my son Monday (today) to find out what the truck had been doing. My son called early this morning only to be told that no work would be done because it's "vacation week". I called and asked why no one told us that Friday. The man I spoke to said "I didn't think it was important". When I emphasized he had several opportunities to tell us (my son, me, my fiance who had also called Friday) to tell us this was going to be "vacation week" he continued to tell me he didn't think it was important, they have a two week backup, and usually customers don't care about leaving their cars for long periods of time (really??). This means our truck sat there for 3 days, when we could've gone to get it and made arrangements to get it some place else that could at least start diagnostics. Needless to say we picked up the truck and have taken our business some place else who has already started diagnostics. Maybe AAA knows their "stuff" but beware of their customer service."
