"Self service now. 100%. Order your food on a kiosk. Pick it up at the counter. Get your own condiments and drinks. And theirs signage to clean your own tables when you leave. Food was amazing as always."

"Food was decent and ready quickly, but dining in ain't what it used to be. Find your own table - I guess that's not much of an issue since the place was completely dead. Order and pay at a kiosk. Stoneware plates and cups and metal flatware have been replaced by plastic, paper and Styrofoam. Don't throw that basket away! Leave it on top of the garbage station. No condiments or napkins at the tables. Another diner was rightfully upset that they no longer have their signature pepper sauce. Pour your own soft drink. No way to get a cherry or vanilla Coke if you dine in. Yet the kiosk has the nerve to prompt me for a tip. For what? All the services and little things they don't provide anymore? Um, yeah I got a tip all right. I'll tip myself, TYVM. All the things that made Steak 'n Shake special are gone. The king is dead. Long live the king."

"I'm old school. I can go anywhere in fast food and serve myself. S&S was set apart with servers that served the customer. Bring it back! At this time I will use Freddy's, Culver's and anyone that can take my order that hasn't bought Kiosks to take the place off workers. It seems this is the direction our fast food industry is going and changes are hard."

"Husband and son went to get shakes tonight. Husband was ordering and drive-thru employee responded in a stale, piss-poor manner when asked questions. When they arrived at window she grabbed debit card and wouldn’t even look towards their vehicle. Shakes were brought to window by a completely different employee. Despite the fact you no longer offer side by side shakes, the shake was fine. It’s the immature teenager at the drive thru that needs her attitude put in check. Business will decline pretty quickly with people like that working for you. And I can imagine she will have trouble finding anywhere else that will want to hire her with that kind of negative mindset. Will be contacting corporate as well, as it appears that nothing will likely be done or acknowledged, based off of past poor reviews."

"Management needs to teach staff better customer service, Let me breath and look at menu before you constantly hit me with "anything else" 4 times in a row. Expect that from the McDonald's across the street. Not a well known restaurant here in liberty."
