"Wanted pizza but didn't want to wait forever. Hubs and I decided to try Hot Rocks. We were pleasantly surprised. Food was great. I had a calzone. The crust was yummy, not so much dough that was all there was. The crust was more of a thin crust without the hardness. Loved that we didn't have to walk through the bar to eat dinner. We would definitely recommend."

"Sat in the bar area tonight and the guy who waited on us was great. But the pizza was awful! Literally had almost no sauce on it and saturated with thick cheese making the underside of the crust soggy. Guy in the bar who waited on us agreed it was not made correctly and nicely comped it and said we could just take the rest with us (along with a small container of the missing pizza sauce) but then some guy who I assume is the owner came by asked if we were displeased with the pizza which we said "yes" and he arrogantly said "then I guess I'll just take this off your hands" and took the pizza away. How rude! He obviously doesn't care if his customers aren't happy. We will never be going back! Would never recommend this place to anyone."

"We’re pretty happy to have Hot Rocks as a sort of “neighborhood pizzeria”. I wouldn’t consider it my all time favorite but it’s more than decent food. The Italian is great, Hawaiian is good, fried mushrooms are awesome. Their hand tossed crust is pretty thin, just keep that in mind if you want to order a couple of crust styles like we’ve done. We didn’t see much of a difference between the two. They have a small arcade for kids and great specials through the week. If they could somehow reconstruct the pizza to prevent all the toppings from sliding off as you eat it, I think it would be 5 stars for us."

"Took my family for Saturday dinner. Place was very sports bar, but clean and not too loud for a family with kids. Lots of TVs, but the high-backed booths made it hard to see a lot of them. My kids loved the arcade area. Pizza was hot and tasty and perfectly cooked. Thinner crust, but not cracker thin. My son and husband loved the calzones. Servers were friendly. We will be back!"
