Most notably a predatory towing scam in partnership with Bandit Towing. It is disgusting and disgraceful that practices like this happen and nothing is done to regulate."

"Lark Oxford, an apartment complex that has so much to offer. Well, that’s what I thought. This place is filled with tons of great things such as a pool, picnic area, hot tub, basketball area, and much more. As I was making my decision to lease out an apartment, this one had everything I was looking for. Well, after living here for a while and getting comfortable, I was shocked at how they handle things. Some things I have been not been a fan of is; the unclean stairways, ridiculous parking fees, charges on my account that are absolutely insane, power going out constantly, WiFi constantly going out, smell of marijuana, sauna room closed for weeks/months, and services aren’t willing to understand the necessities of a lease owner. They will charge you service fees that are ridiculous. They won’t even mention it in the lease that service fees will cost 100+ dollars. As a student, the WiFi is important, and when it goes out constantly, it makes it tough to work on papers and other work. The outdoor big screen was suppose to display the Ole Miss home football games so that the residents can watch. Well, that promise wasn’t kept either. It didn’t come on for any football games. It was turned off all season. Parking was absolutely outrageous, Lark is partnered with Bandit Towing, and their way of handling things are evil. They charged me 300$ for a towing fee when my truck was barely on the line. I have seen countless vehicles getting towed, and all this company does is take people’s money. Their company is evil and charge people way too much for making a small mistake. As an active individual, the sauna was one thing I was interested in using a lot but since it was “out of service” I couldn’t even use it for weeks going into months. I’ve been paying out of my own pocket all of these expenses and it’s just ridiculous to not get what they promised in the lease. This place is not as good as it seems. I leased out an apartment with Lark expecting to get what I pay for but, I guess I’m giving them money out my pocket for nothing."

"This Apartment Complex is horrible, with the parking situation. They have hired a very shady towing company, called Bandit Towing. The Apartment complex allows this company to tow any vehicle in the parking lot including residents. When you speak to management at the complex, they have actually said, this company has towed residents that’s clearly authorized to park in the parking lot, yet they still pay, and allow this company to come and get a vehicle whenever they feel like it. The towing company makes sure they keep your car over night and they are charging these college students over $300 cash only to get their car back. I really think the apartment complex is getting a cut out of the ridiculous amount the towing company charge. After researching the towing company, I found out that they have had numerous complaints to the Better Business Bureau, and they have responded to each complaint saying they are doing what the lark management has advised them to do. After speaking to attorneys they have advised that the apartment complex is liable because they hired the towing company and continue to allow them to abuse the residents and visitors. If your vehicle has been unfairly towed, please contact an attorney, Are do not allow your college kids to live at this place until something changes."

"The leasing staff is great, especially Desiree. Desiree was very patient and answered my multiple questions during multiple phone calls. She answered each question thoroughly and found the answer if she did not know it. I am hopeful that the living experience there will be just as satisfactory."

"Amenities are ok, the pool and the billiards table are great, clubhouse is sufficient and I’m ok with the distance from campus. Also I like that you all provide a mini fridge. The appliances work well. I wouldn't recommend anyone to live here though.There could be security issues with the doors don’t auto-lock so if one housemate unintentionally forgets to lock the door, the unit could be compromised considering the amount of foot traffic in the area. I have other issues with even locking my room door as I have to twist the door handle and twist the lock button simultaneously in order to lock my door instead of just twisting the lock button. The units interior decor feels like I’m living in a hotel but with a huge closet that feels bigger than my room, especially with the outdated styling on the carpets. The electrical outlets are poorly placed. Typically I think the outlets should be horizontally spaced 6 feet away from each other like most living places. A mailbox key was not provided upon arrival. To sum up, the minor inconveniences with the apartment gives the vibe that the consumer is not getting the most bang for their buck."
