Courtyard by Marriott Oxford 305 East Jackson Avenue, Oxford, MS 38655

"Meh.. that’s the review on this room. Stayed in a massive room on the 1st floor.. it was nice. It was also located under a herd of staff elephants with jackhammers apparently that kept dropping 100 lb medicine balls… ALL DAMN NIGHT AND MORNING…The room was not 10/10 clean.. didn’t have soap, or coffee cups with their coffee maker, no tissue .. ran out of toilet paper, as they only left a half of a roll.... 3 towels. The mini fridge is a MICRO MINI, don’t anticipate bringing any takeout food back and also having room to toss in a couple bevvys… This location is LOUD AF. Mediocre at best. Comfy beds. The shower curtain wasn’t long enough to keep the water from completely drenching the floor… again.. 3 towels for a room that sleeps 6.. of course used all the towels for 1 shower.. because…. Floor water. Weird stupid drafty hole in the shower wall freezes you to death while the HVAC never shuts off or switches to accommodate the suggested temp you request from the thermostat.. place has potential. Won’t be back. I’m not paying this much for “hit or miss” service and lackluster accommodations. HORRIBLY LIT PARKING LOT.. did I mention it’s LOUD AF? Don’t forget your earbuds and download a good white noise app to drown out this noise polluted hotel…. JUST…Booooooooooooooooo"

"Stayed for 4 nights and never got housekeeping. I had to go request fresh towels. This property is not that old but looks pretty worn down. $8 for parking in December when no one is in town is ridiculous! A/C in the room didn’t work well."

"Bathroom is moldy and dirty looking, vanity is super old and the paint is peeling. Front desk clerk wasn't very welcome and didn't acknowledge Marriot member status. After I checked out we received two bills even though we only booked one room, had to call hotel to get them fix the mistake. Apparently they mixed our bill with my in laws because we have the same last name. Charged two parkings when we all drove together in one car. No tissues in bathroom. Wouldn't recommend. The location is good. I think that the hotel didn't bother to get any update because they are booked mostly full due to being across from the University."

"This staff has to do an amazing amount of juggling during football weekends. They are very skilled at keeping all the tees crossed, and all the I’s dotted. Their current staff has been with him for quite a long time, and they follow the Marriott standard to a T. We had a couple who needed some diapers, and their concierge was able to get diapers. Brought to the room within minutes!"
