"I love historic lighthouses, and Oregon takes good care of theirs. This is a beautiful lighthouse. I visited off season so aside from the plaques I had no other information. Great view of the sea and the coastline. A recommended stop! Day fee or America the Beautiful pass"
"This visit was in January. It was fun, but it was high tide and cold. Warmer weather, and low tide, makes the tide pools a lot of fun. It is very windy at times here, so dress warm in the cooler months. Lots of places to walk, and lots of photo ops. Very pretty views no matter what time of year."
"Beautiful views! You can walk down to Cobble Beach and watch birds and seals from the rocks. We were here on a windy winter day and saw several seals swimming in the waves and lounging on rocks. The beach itself is unique and beautiful. You go down a few flights of stairs to get to the beach. Recommend wearing stable shoes for walking on the rocks. The view from the lighthouse is great as well and more easily accessible - no stairs required."
"Beautiful area and great views of the coast. We saw whales from the lookout up at the lighthouse. You can't go inside the lighthouse but it's still a nice walk up to it. Paved path so it's wheelchair accessible. No dogs are allowed past a certain point and there are signs posted. The day we went there were so many flies! Really annoying, so take bug spray. Not sure if it will help with the flies, but worth a shot. The tidepools were fun but on a very rocky beach so wear sturdy shoes."
