"I own a property on the Oregon Coast and Poolside Jan's has been servicing our hot tub since 2017. Because my property is a short term vacation rental I wanted to hire a service that was reliable and could be available and responsive to last minute issues. It's important that my guests needs are met in a timely manner if for some reason there is an issue. This is their vacation and I don't want them to be inconvenienced or not have access to all of the amenities that my home offers. These guys are always so great about helping me out when issues come up. For example this Summer a previous guest had misplaced the key for the hot tub lock so the current guest couldn't access the hot tub. Poolside Jan's sent a tech out right away to bring a key to my guest. When the locks get rusty and stick due to the coastal elements they make sure to let me know and ask whether I want them to change out the lock to a new one or install one myself. When I have called after hours with an issue they have always called me back bright and early the next day. Our issues are always from guest user error. Most often it is a group who has perhaps had little kids peeing in the hot tub and find that the water is vile a few days into their stay and they need a complete drain and refill of the hot tub. I know how busy these guys are during the Summer/peak season and they always manage to address the issues promptly. Since I don't live locally and cannot address these concerns myself it gives me peace of mind to know that Poolside Jan's is so reliable and provides me such great service. They have also notified me when there has been damage to my hot tub cover and are always great about letting me know how much longer I can get use out of it before I will need to order a replacement or whether it just needs to be repaired. I appreciate that they are looking out for me and bringing issues like this to my attention but not being pushy about upselling me on a new cover before I need one. They have also installed my cover lifters for me and are always great about pointing out if we need only new parts or whether we need a whole new lifter. The office staff has always been professional and polite when I have interacted with them and shown concern and been quick to offer solutions when I have had to call them with last minute guest issues. My number one wish, that they offered a way to pay my bill online has just been granted beginning in Jan 2024 so I'm super excited about that. Overall I continue to be happy with my decision to work with them for the last 6 years."

"I've been extremely happy with the service at Poolside Jan's. We recently were away from our house for an extended period. When we returned, our hot tub had algae in it and a terrible brown ring around it. I called Poolside Jan's, who had been servicing our spa, and asked them what might be the matter. I explained that we were having guests that weekend and were hoping to use the spa. I asked if there would be any way to respond within a couple of days. They arranged an employee to respond that same day, to check out the problem. It turns out it was our fault (we didn't have the hot tub turned up high enough). The employee who responded drained the tub, re-filled it, fixed the algae problem with chemicals, and even scrubbed and scrubbed trying to remove the stain. They went over and above what I had expected them to do, and I was so impressed with their level of responsiveness. Thank you Poolside Jan's!"
