The Landings at Morrison Apartments 20300 Southeast Morrison Terrace, Gresham, OR 97030

"I have a few months left in my lease here at the complex and it definitely has its pros and cons. I’ll start by saying that I am already on a massive hunt to find my next place to live. First and foremost, the “security” gate is constantly out of order. More often than not, it sits wide open. And Amazon still fails to deliver packages here on time. Second of all, I can hear absolutely everything my neighbors upstairs are doing. Whether that be watching tv or vacuuming, or running/stomping around, sometimes up until 2 AM. Third - my unit specifically has a mold problem. I have set up moisture absorbers and run the fan constantly but mold still pops up. They also hire a cheap paint company pre-move in because anything that I have placed in the cabinets has a layer of paint that sticks to it, there are also splatters of paint all over the flooring. Neighbors constantly flood the trash bins, throwing out their furniture that sits piled up for a week+ at a time. I’ve interacted with a man who said he was hired by the leasing agent to “spy and investigate” on residents they were trying to evict (my guess is that worked because there were obvious drug addicts who are now gone) so point blank, The Landings are not the “luxury” complex they claim to be."

"We’ve lived here for 9 months and had friendly interactions with the front office staff. Communication via email and phone could be better. Wish the apartment management would have more urgency in completing tenants requests."

"After 3 years of being a tenant, I am very disappointed in the lack of ongoing overall maintenance. The gates are equipped with outdated locks and seldom work. There are no security cameras. Some sections of the complex have had plastic tarps on the roof for almost a year now. Many of us have had to travel across town on a daily basis to collect our mail at the post office for almost 6 months now due to a vandalized mailbox that has not been repaired. The hottub Jacuzzi is only a hot bath tub....no working jets. Overall....we have witnessed a decline in overall upkeep of the entire facility."

"Moved out of these apartments about a month ago and they are just trashy apartments, we got about a 3rd of our deposit back since they claim we left our apartment a mess and charged all sorts of cleaning fees. If we knew they would charge us a cleaning fee we would have left the place a mess so they can have something to actually clean up. Mailbox got broken into and took them awhile to fix it and when they did they gave us someone else’s mailbox key My shower handle that turns on the water started to get black mold on it since water would just constantly drip not surprised tho because they are known for having mold and not doing anything about it besides try to blame you. Neighbors in front and bottom of us were loud as hell. Took them a whole 3-4 months to even do anything about that poor lady in building J that was getting harassed by her neighbor that lived on top of her. The dumpsters are the worst, piles and piles of trash so much that somedays they wouldn’t even bother coming to pick it up. If u do end up moving here then take picture of ever inch of your apartment or else they will charge u for the most smallest things. Like for small spill In the fridge that we couldn’t really clean up good because the fridge and the wall are to damn close to each other that the fridge door doesn’t open all the way. So there no way of getting the left drawer out . So many flaws in these apartments"

"Really enjoyed my time here at the landings. I was a tenant for about 8 years. Only reason I moved, broke my lease, was out of necessity due to a severe family health crisis, or I'd still be there. The office staff was always friendly and the maintenance staff was responsive. The complex was quiet, at least where I was at. The biggest frustration was all the trash dumping (mattresses, furniture, TV's etc) that other tenants, and I'm sure visitors were doing. At times it looks like a homeless camp. It would eventually get cleaned up than piled up again. All in all though The Landings is a great complex. Rent increases were very reasonable. I never felt like management was raising rents just because they could. Who knows, I may end up back there someday. Thanks for a great living experience."
