"For the last five years, people have been calling me asking for the Jax. Every time they call, I tell them that management can't even manage to STOP USING MY PHONE NUMBER IN THEIR ADVERTISING. I used to get several calls a day for the jax. Now it's only one every few months. I still get calls though, and you better believe that every single person who calls me asking about an apartment listing hears about what a dumpster fire the management here is. Idiots."

"When I first moved to The Jax the property manager was great. However, during my two years there they cycled through several managers before there was no manager. Affinity property management started having managers from different apartment complexes take turns managing The Jax in-between their other job duties. This meant maintenance requests went a long time before being answered, they didn't count rent in the drop box unless I specifically asked them to look, and other examples of important tasks falling through the cracks. I want to emphasize it wasn't just the lack of a management presence. It was also the lack of consistency with a task causing a strange outcome. When I moved out of my apartment September 2022 I literally could not get a hold of anyone to coordinate resolution of being a tenant. For example: no final walk through, I put the keys in the drop box, I called and left voice messages, I left an email with my email, phone number, and new mailing address. They never refunded my deposit or explained why. Furthermore, it is now June 2023 and they have a collections bill for over $2000. I received no notice of an amount due or a break down to explain the charges. I still literally continue to try and access someone to explain to me a break down of the charges and cannot get a response from anyone. It is in unbelievable to me that they are continuing to run a business with this level of unprofessional behavior. Worst management company ever at all."

"Lived at the jax for 11 months, paid my rent on time never caused any problems. After moving out my deposit was never refunded nor a letter explaining why. Nobody is ever in the office or answers the phone. Can't reach anyone at affinity property management either to discuss the issue. Poor property management company."

"I really don’t understand why there are these bad reviews. I’ve rented more apartments then I can count. Zero of them have treated me with any decency. I’ve been here for 6 months and they have been way more kind then they needed to be. Any little thing that has needed fixed they usually get to it that day. It’s like people think there should be super high end materials in a n apartment for some reason. When you have countless people moving in and out of a small place it’s impossible to keep it perfect. My unit was as close to perfect as I’ve got in other places. I think people only leave reviews when they are upset and not when they are satisfied. So don’t pay attention to the negative people on here the Jax is a great place to rent from."
