"A place to live BUT very run down, Maintenence literally does nothing, parking is a complete nightmare. Constant people rummaging through garbage cans. Rotting wood, unsafe stairs. Benefit is month to month and cheap. I guess you get what you pay for…"
"Katrina in management is totally unresponsive. If you catch her in person she might promise this or that follow through, but rarely does. Who knows what they get paid for. Makes this place feel like it's run by slum lords"
"Noise level is poor. You can hear everything several buildings down due to the thin, flimsy windows that are probably from the 80's. Note, I said buildings, not units or rooms. The inferior interior construction also has you hearing every footstep, creak and movement of the neighbor to your right/left and above. Lighting is terrible. They have these bright, high powered lights on each apartment gutter facing directly into each room. Even with thick curtains it still lights up the whole house. Wanting to use that patio for some romantic star-watching? Forget it because there is a police light glaring directly into your porch like you are some prisoner at a FED facility. Seriously, they had these in Iraq to keep the guard up for duty watch. The lighting is also hazardous because it creates "blind spots" when you are driving in the parking lot below. The parking is super crowded and on a slopped hill, making it terrible enough to park and be safe, never-mind these stadium lights flooding the area in weird patches. Two of three of the sinks have had flooding issues from the 1st day that I've moved in. I am fastidious about keeping my sinks clean but I can see the last resident has hair wrapped around the drain and because the apartments don't allow you to remove the drains it's there until the maintenance guy can fix it. I have to deal with 5" of water in the basin when I wash my hands or rinse my hair. Overall, these apartments are poorly constructed and terribly planned. I moved in due to the location and price but you get what you pay for. These apartments are no better than the shoddy ones in the Whitaker neighborhood where the methheads live. I am planning to move out asap. Trust me, invest $50-75 dollars more a month for a nicer place and avoid the noise, the eyesores and the maintenance issues."
