"Awful property management. They priced out most of the older folks so they could jack up the rents and some of the newer residents are loud and possibly dealing drugs. Since moving in, I've not had a positive interaction with management. We're not allowed to talk to our neighbors like adults, but are forced to report our neighbors to the office instead."

"Overall West Fair Apartments was and is great place to live at. First the staff is very helpful and responsive to the needs of its tenants. It is a 55+ community that allows younger folks and because of this some tenants need assistance quickly when they have a problem and management doesn't discriminate if you are younger. They get back to you quickly if you leave a message or note in their mailbox. Ben and Jessica run a tight ship. Second the grounds are lovely and have multiple apple trees that you can freely pick from. They also have a shared community garden and occasional get togethers where tenants meet and share food, stories and time. There is always parking and it is never too far from either entrance. Each building is locked from the outside so it is very safe. They also have a security company that patrols semi regularly to keep an eye on the place. Third you really get a quality place for the price. I rented a 2 bedroom 1 bath for $580. I had plenty of room for all my stuff and the things I accumulated over the year I was there. There aren't any washers and dryers in the units but the laundry room is rarely crowded or over used and is a dollar per wash and dry. Decent price for doing a load. They also only allow pets that are medically needed since it is a 55+ community. Overall West Fair Apartments have been a great place to live. The staff is helpful and kind and willing to work with you, the apartments are clean and cozy and the neighbors are friendly. If you are a student on a tight budget definitely take a look because you won't have any trouble studying while here."
