"I love this school so much! The teachers are so attentive, engaged, and fun, the play areas and classrooms are some of the best that I have seen in Portland, and the food is excellent! The directors Rose and Laura are really engaged in building community and taking care of the kids (they are always in the classrooms). They are so so involved and really listen to parent needs and helped our transition into this school. I can't recommend this place enough, we are so lucky to have landed here. I have noticed some harsh reviews here but those are from before the change of ownership (just changed last year). Thank you for Wander in Wonder!!!"

"My kids love this school. The teachers are loving, dedicated, and truly care about their work and the kids. They have a chef who makes three homemade meals/snacks a day, a great crew of support teachers, and two directors who are passionate about early childhood education. Being on campus at Reed College is a nice perk, as campus is lovely and allows for walks and learning about nature. There hasn’t been a single day all year that my kid wasn’t excited to go to preschool, which says a lot about the environment."

"The school has changed owners as of late 2022 - so the previous reviews should be seen through this lens. We've had our child at this school since they were 5 months old (now about to head off to kindergarten). The new owners, Laura and Rose, are dedicated, communicative, swift to make changes when needed, and most of all - incredibly loving to the students. They have both been teachers and education coordinators before moving into their admin/ownership roles and it shows. They are deeply involved in the daily activities at the school and I feel they value the mental wellness of their staff. The school chef, Paula, makes amazing meals for the children that are raved about regularly. And lastly, and most importantly, the teachers - there was a lot of turnover, but it has felt pretty stable since the new ownership. The teachers put their all into the children and I feel really fortunate that our little one has had the chance to attend this school. ♥️"

"We love this school. We have an infant that attends and the teachers are wonderful and the owners are very communicative and responsive. There are new owners as of the beginning of this year and they are really involved and have done some great things to update processes, payment, etc. It seems like there was some drama in the past, but we have only had great experiences here. The facility itself is nice and they get to play outside often and go on walks. Our little one seems to love the staff so we're really happy taking him here."

"A lot of the negative feedback is in regards to previous ownership when the school was called Growing Seeds. The previous owner was very absent and teachers were unfairly paid and working in not ideal conditions. Last year they went on strike as a result and the owner has since left the school. It is now owned by two former staff members the kids adore. While the the kinks are still being worked out during the transition, we have nothing but amazing things to say about the teachers and staff. Our child LOVES this school and we would recommend it to anyone. The kids are also very lucky to have a great facility and yard to play in and bonus, they get to go on walks through Reed Canyon! I cannot speak for teacher experience, but this is our experience as parents to a preschooler there."
