"The store is barely wheelchair accessible and is NOT wheelchair friendly once inside. My son, a manual wheelchair user, and I went into the store. There is a 4 inch step which is not uncommon for us to manage. As we walked down one of the isles to look at the shirts on the other side of the store, the lady behind the counter said, “ma’am, ma’am you can’t go down there. There is no room.” I turn to look forward and there are two ladies in front of us at the end of the row, with extra room, so clearly there was enough room. “There’s room.” The lady, said “No ma’am, there is no room so your going to have to leave.” I said “Your discriminating against wheelchair users.” She shrugged her shoulders and told us “You needed to leave.” My son said, “We heard you. You don’t have to be so rude about it.” She shrugged her shoulders again. As I we were leaving, people were coming in, so I wouldn’t run into them, I said in a sarcastic tone, “excuse me, we have to leave, she doesn’t let wheelchair users in here” The lady didn’t care. As we were walking in, saw a couple of shirts I wanted to buy, one that was perfect for my mini me(son) that said I put ketchup on ketchup. Ignorance. This was the only store that had an issue with my son being in a wheelchair."
"Had a great stay at this place through airbnb during Mardi Gras. Didn't have to meet anyone to get in and the apartment was pretty cosy. The location is amazing and walkable to everything in the downtown area. It was right on the parade routes. I thought the price was really good for the busiest time of year too!"
"Very inflexible, will not budge from a very strict cancellation policy. We need to cancel due to health concerns with the uptick in CoVid cases and the two new state of emergency mandates issued by New Orleans. Had a 30 day lead time to cancel, and no flexibility. Money mongering with no respect to the health of their renters or their city."
"Super location for my first AirBnb stay. My experience has been top notch from atmosphere, service & value! Great apartments and views! Excellent rooftop cabana and pool area!"
"I wished there was a rating less than 1 star because I would certainly give the owner/management of Giani Building of Unit #206 a negative 1. He made this the worst experience with Airbnb EVER!! The owner/management of this unit is extremely narcissistic and rude. It’s New Years Eve and the heat went out and his only solution to us was to get out so he could rent the unit to the next tenets... If you’re looking for the GREAT New Orleans experience I STRONGLY suggest not renting from this owner/management of Giani Building #206...."
