"My friend and I traveled here two weeks ago for Mardi Gras and were skeptical (as two young girls traveling alone) about safety. This place is highly affordable, and they have parking behind a gate-safer than most options in New Orleans. The ubers were fairly decent to the French Quarter, the bed was comfortable, and it was pretty quiet. Everyone was friendly, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. I'd stay here again!"

"Room was clean. Owners very nice and accommodating. It's located little far away from center of Mardi Gras but I'm glad because my husband and I was able to get good amount of rest before flying back home."

"If only possible I would give this hotel 0 stars.... They charged my card before I even arrived at 10am. I did not arrive till 7pm. Once I did arrive I was totally shell shocked. As I am checking in now let me remind you had my card not been charged I would of kept driving. At check in they never asked to see my card. There was one employee checking me in and another one at the window. As I am listening he was charging $25.00 an hour for a room. I am trying to stay positive. Once checked in I was given a room through a locked gate due to the area. My room was on the back side completely at the end. I get to my room it was pretty large. Nice looking Jacuzzi. So I go to the store to grab a few things and then get a shower. When I get back to the hotel I go to take a shower. After running the water for over 25 minutes. I go to the office and tell him I need a new room because we have no hot water. He then proceeded to argue with me. He came to my room made me show him the shower and kept telling me it was hot. It was barely warm enough for a baby. He then tells me to run the water longer and it will get hot. After another 15 minutes I still have no hot water. I go back to the office. Now there are dirty condoms wrappers in the hallway between the rooms and parking lot. It is all outdoors. He sends me back to my room with a guest who lives there. He had to flush the toilet shut the valve off and finally we got some what hot water. I am beyond livid and don't want to stay there. I'm uncomfortable and actually a little scared. Manager refused to allow a refund. Refused by the hour even though I was there for less than 2.5 hours. I ended up leaving and paying for my room since he would not let me have a refund. Anyone looking at hotels DO NOT BOOK HERE. ITS DIRTY, SHADY AND NOT IN A GOOD AREA AT ALL. If your down for hookers nasty rooms and horrible management then you went to the right hotel. If you want a good time while coming to New Orleans you are in the wrong spot. This place needs to be shut down. I was lucky enough to find an amazing comfort inn and suites that could accommodate my husband and I for 3 days. So much better."
