"Not perfect apartments but definitely better than where I lived before where I felt unsafe and that the management was dishonest. I have experienced some of the same issues here that others talk about such as bug/fleas, a little mold (not surprising with all the greenery around and it's the rainy PNW!), some water leak issues and annoying neighbors at times, but Debra and Kevin do the best they can to make this a nicer place. They respond quickly to emergencies and are respectful of your time and space. It's not their fault that this is an older complex with issues that go along with that, so give them some grace. I do hope management will continue to be understanding of the fact that I am a contract mental health therapist, in high demand because I work with kids, but at the mercy of insurance reimbursement so my income fluctuates. I think I'm a good tenant, respectful, and don't cause problems. I really feel that this is a safe and friendly apartment complex but it could be better if people would show common courtesy and consideration. I do hope there is follow-through as far as fines for dumping garbage, not picking up after dogs, and other unsanitary practices (e.g., pure laziness!) and I'd love to see a recycling program. Overall, happy to be here!"

"10/5/23 Heather Ridge Apts.& Homes claims to have a non-smoking policy inside of the apartment, however, the below tenant, apt. 101 smokes inside her apartment lifting the smoky air to my apartment, 201, affecting my breathing. I have talked to the site manager, and the 101 smoking continues. I do not know who to contact about this problem to find a solution, if you know someone in your staff, please contact me. Because rules need to be followed by all tenants in this complex and, not one is above or below the rule."

"Please SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY by AVOIDING HEATHER RIDGE at all costs. After one year may 22-23 I have experienced an attempted break in, a deceased neighbor, 3 property managers, hidden deposit fees and absolutely no amenities open or working ever. Please save yourself some sanity! Kevin the maintenance man and tenants are NOT the problem. Update: I was never evicted and always paid on time and was a resident for a year. So please DONT take this with a grain of salt per recent reviews. Not sure why people feel the need to down play other people experience in their reviews. Poor taste."

"My husband and I moved in May 2022. While there’s a lot to be said about the previous property manager and the issues that were prevalent in the complex at the time, Deborah took over in October 2022 and completely changed the place for the better. My husband and I have been in constant awe of all of the hard work and changes that have been taking place. Deborah and Kevin now have the apartment complex working like a well oiled machine. Maintenance issues are always handled in a timely manner, communication is always quick, the pool (in the summer) and the laundry rooms are always clean and up and running, and you can genuinely feel Deborah’s care and concern for every tenants well being and living experience in the complex. Deborah and Kevin put just as much time and attention inside the units as they do outside the units ensuring the landscaping, garbage area, parking spots/side walks etc. are clean and up to standard. My husband and I have 2 dogs and a 16 month old and we are so grateful for Deborah and Kevin and the changes that are being made. Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. Any reviews past October 2022 are from tenants who were evicted in the last year because they did not follow the rules, disrespected their living space and/or the outside spaces, and did not care for the other residents in the complex. With Deborah as the property manager, Heather Ridge is definitely a place you will be grateful to live. Especially with the rental market being what it is right now."
