"We have been living in this complex for 1 month. We were checked in quickly. Thanks to the whole team and especially Judy. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The complex is new and very safe. There is always security in the parking lot. There are a lot of shops and entertainment near our complex, it is very convenient to get there by walking. I'm really happy with our move. I even noticed how thoroughly they clean our yard :)"

"This average rate of this apartment is lower than other similar places for a reason. The apartment itself is good in terms of either location and amenities, only that the property management team needs improvements. Most of the time, people were able to tour only model units but not the unit to be rent; if the property team does not want to lease to you, particularly out of no reason, they are just not reachable and no courtesy will be presented. I hope they enjoy living with their chosen tenants."

"*Update* Property management has reached out to offer to remedy and accommodate appropriately. As a result, they have updated their unit hold policy, and leasing office staff has expressed interest in offering competitive accommodations for moving units within the community that other apartment communities in the area have in place for their loyal residents. In this case, I am satisfied with the response thus far and have changed my rating. I will update again after, if and once our plans of growth are made with The Woods at Alderwood. *End of Update* Our experience living here has greatly improved with the new property manager, who is prompt and takes action to address any concerns. Because of our experience here, we wanted to continue residing here and upgrade into a larger unit, but unfortunately, the current policies in place do not make the transition for current residents smooth or comfortable. What has discouraged us: - We would have to complete the entire application process again as if we were completely new residents. This is understandable but should be greatly streamlined for current residents. - We would only be allowed 3 days to move everything out and clean the previous unit. This is self-explanatory, but especially frustrating as they are expecting the unit to be completely clean and move in ready. - There was the option of being placed on a waitlist if a particular floor plan was desired, but it is difficult to justify the non-refundable $300 fee to merely be "the first to know" if a unit will be available. - If the transition were to technically end the current lease early, the fee for that would be a months worth of rent. This is completely understandable but further discourages with the previous points made. It is disappointing that there lacks incentive to remain loyal to The Woods, especially when wanting to upgrade to a larger home. It seems it is just as stressful to move into a completely different apartment complex, if not more stressful, with only 3 days that they give us. This suggests current residents are not valued, and retention is not a priority since there is always demand. After all, it is easy to replace us."
