"The furniture in these apartments are somewhat outdated and stained. All of my roommates except 1 did not speak English. People would put your clothing on top of the washer if you did not take it out soon enough. With that being typed, I actually really enjoyed my time at Rainier Place. I loved having my own bedroom. I only had to share a bathroom with 1 other person. The dorm was usually really quiet. My time here is a time that I will always cherish. It felt like I had a normal college experience while being at community college and I loved it. The dorm building is across from the CWU building. There are a lot of memories that I have from living here."

"Much more expensive than homestay. Foods are not provided but about 150dollars more than average homestay. Especially when you apply for one quarter, because you have to pay extra for short term lease."

"Honestly if you're going to go to edcc don't stay at rainier place especially for athletes. They placed me and multiple teammates on the forth floor. We don't finish practice until 9-10pm most nights so we're walking around our dorm making dinner or doing homework together which means that we got multiple noise complaints from a international group of kids living in the floor below us who would hit the ceiling sometimes at 2 in the afternoon for no reason. Also, 80% of the RA's are horrible absolutely horrible. The 2nd floor RA's almost never answer their door or their phone calls, the 4th floor RA's especially a woman named Sadie is completely rude, and almost anytime you go downstairs to the special game room they have there's never a RA even there. It'll always say that they're eating dinner, but then you're sitting there almost an hour later before you decide to call the number because it's certainly been too long waiting. I had to leave school and my team because in the end my coach could help with school but not housing. $50 for minor damage to the walls that obviously would take spackle and like a small amount of paint, but hey I guess it also looks like I'll get to buy a 5 gallon bucket of paint for them since they're taking $50 of the $200 security deposit, and to top it off they're charging me $25 for "trash left behind" aka a bedsheet on the bed, a 6ft cable chord, and possible a couple cans if my teammates didn't pick them up. Lastly, not to mention my teammates and I were being threatened of being kicked out for the multiple noise complaints which 8/10 we had NO control over which would mean we'd get kicked off the team for the worst reason there. If you feel like paying about 2-4k every quarter for outdated living room furniture covered in stains, leftover trash from the people living there before you, a stove that's light always says it's on even if it's not, and a sink that's garbage disposal didn't work for over a month before someone finally came to fix it then be my guest and live here! The only nice thing about this place was one brunette girl who worked at the front who was always nice to me and my teammates and stuff we had to deal with."
