"My family had a reunion visit at Whatcum Manor this July. It is such a lovely gracious place. The architecture is magnificent, combining craftsman style woodwork including reclaimed beams and old posts and sections of an old Seattle school house. The wrought iron work carries an elegant pattern throughout the house, right down to lamps and bathroom towel holders. The separate rooms are like apartments. There are so many comfortable spaces you can have time to read or sketch or have a cup of tea. The opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, swimming and boating abound. It has been an ideal choice for a large family reunion. Grandma."

"We stayed here for a family reunion and had marvelous time! The Whatcom Manor is a magical place and very close to a variety of adventures. We biked daily at Gailbraith Mountain; a view you can pleasurably view from the house. A quick 30 minute drive to Oyster Dome where you can experience a breathtaking view or a 10 minute drive to Whatcom Lake Park where you can bike, hike, and run. Whatcom Manor is full of astonishing craftsmanship and is a place you must visit."

"We so enjoyed our stay at the manor. The grounds are truly impressive. From relaxing poolside, huge sunlit decks, boat house,dock and kayaks. We really had a nice time paddling around the lake. The house is truly unique in it's construction, almost like a castle. Very impressive, relaxing and cozy and the view of the lake, wow!"

"Just returned from a family reunion at the Lake Whatcom Manor and it was beautiful. My husband and I had the honor of staying in “The Nautilus Room” which is considered the primary suite of the house. It had a his & Her’s bathroom, kettle and small refrigerator along with a seating area overlooking the spectacular view of Lake Whatcom along with balcony access down to the lake. The “Great Room” was the perfect gathering location for the 10 of us. The house was very spacious and allowed everyone their own retreat area when the day was done. The host was very accommodating to any request from the family. The last day we utilize the kayaks and canoe on the property and had a wonderful day. We would be delighted to stay again."
